Help?

I think someone was tryna scam me? Idk, the vibe was just weird and I think they wanted my account or something. Just ever get the feeling you should question something or go with your gut? The person said nothing else but "send a friend request." I wanted to ask why we couldnt just be friends in game but something about having my account and not my in-game was... a little weird, yknow? Anyway, any answers?

It is odd, but I dont think there's anything to worry about since they left the world and didn't get your account or anything \^\^" I dont let people into my world so I cant give any experience. I believe it's just a random encounter

Doesn't seem that unusual to me. Definitely reads like a child or perhaps someone who spends a lot of time co-op'ing in whatever games they play on console, but I don't get "scam" vibes from it.

That said, I have a strict "I don't add you on socials anywhere" policy with people I meet in-game. In my *entire* gaming history over the past 30 years I've only ever added ***three*** people to my contacts, socials, or friends lists, and they've become really close friends.

So typically, persistence in asking me to "friend you" will usually result in a block.

It all depends on your personality whether or not to interact with folks like this; and certainly trust your gut if you think something feels off.
