I miss when we had free will in archon quests
Kinda complaint, I miss how in Mondstat and Liyue if a location was mentioned, we'd actually go there, not just cut to black and new scene. Same with talking to someone. The archon quests are starting to feel very elongated when it just feels like im watching a 6 hour+ movie where I have to click my mouse every time

That said, I do agree there should be more gameplay elements during these quests—because, as you said, it is a game, not a movie or a visual novel.
On the other hand, tit can disrupt the pacing of the story being told. I also tend to dislike quests that boil down to: go to A, talk; go to B, fight three mobs, talk; go to C, talk. In that sense, I’ll take the more “cinematic” approach over that any day.
Still, I do wish there were a bit more gameplay during these AQs. One of my pet peeves is that when we’re supposedly facing an army or a massive horde of enemies, it ends up being five mobs here and five mobs there, which is most a missed opprtunity of more gameplay and undercuts t0he scale of the situation. I think they could do *so* much more with these scenarios.
Ah yes, lets exclude about 95% of the playerbase from been able to play
Density, be it NPCs, enemies or map size are reduced specifically to make the game more runnable
A clear example is the latest AQ at the end when there is a "crowd" around the playable characters. In low graphics, the crowd is simply gone and only playable characters are present, which ackwardly has Illuga on the side alone
Not even triple AAA games bother with overpopulating their games if it means just making it impossible to market the game for the most players possible
