Although she has an ethereal look befitting a moon goddess , the way she interacts with her friends and the people around her is like of a human . So it's natural to see her as one or the other .
But it's mainly because the development that she went through and her interactions with her friends that are humans is what made her personality gravitate to them than the gods .

The only way to know she's outside is when you visit her place she leaves a note saying she's outside exploring.

This years Lantern Rite takes place after the lastest AQ, and we take Columbina with us. She does say she wants to travel across Teyvat after all. + Zibai being in Liyue this year.
Kinda feels like the Furina situation. Finally free, now go do whatever the hell you wanted to do when you were trapped.

I'm not sure she'd gonna be involved in lantern rite quest .
I think what they're gonna do with her after the current selenic chronicles end is that they'll either add more to it in the future or make her part of the travelers anecdotes.
They'll obviously include her in future events in other nations and I doubt this is the last time we are gonna see her in a main quest considering who she is .

the items are legit. the scam is the pricing and most times the advertisement. think of those new healthy food trends and too techy terms for gadgets.
