The Review over each region's Archon Quest experience for me
Warning!
There will be some spoiler on the last act of Nod Krai but I tried my best to not spoiled everything as I can;w;
# Mondstadt
For a prologue story, Monds was ok. It had unique gameplays(That somehow forgotten till Natlan for some reason like Dragon Chase(Och-Kan Chase) and Purifying the Abyss) and great introduction overall. The best things about Hoyo game's Prolouge are they started casual and did not throw the big lores in your face from the start. However because it's the start of the game, The AR locked during Archon Quests are breaking the flow imo. All in all, it's great prolouge regardless.
# Liyue
It improved a lot of stuff from Monds with Osial and Childe Boss fight alone. But it kinda lost its pacing by too many fetch quests. It's feel too long at certain parts. Overall great improvement from Monds but pacing was awful imo.
# Inazuma
It's improve like the environment and boss fights from previous ones. It's the first time we, Traveler, felt like we could not beat Raiden. And they improved the slow pacing of Liyue by a miles. Then Act 3 felt so rushed as a result. The problems with only having 3 Acts really showed in Inazuma a lot. Power up at the last act feel out of nowhere or under-developed. And even though theu fixed the pacing in Act I and II, Adding Ayaka and Yoimiya story quests into the Archon Quest ruined the flows of the Archon Quests at least for me. It's overall good yet rushed ending.
# Sumeru
This is where the writing of the Archon Quest improved a lot. Making 5 acts also make the Sumeru Archon Quests felt better than previous one. Even though the writing is improved, The pacing has problems still. Act 2 shouldn't feel this long and Act 4 felt like a filler. Genshim seem to has this problems in next region as well. To Build up the great Part, the Build up Quests feel very boring for me. But the plot twists at Act 5 is well done. The Boss fight improved as well. Great Quest. Questionale Pacing.
# Fontaine
This might piss some people but Fontaine improved the previous one yet it's also failed at some too. Lyney's case felt like weird. Navia felt an Archon than the rest of the characters. Act 3 imo is the worst quest in Genshin ever. Even though Act 4 and Act 5 is great, Previous ones were not really good as people thought. It's better than Sumeru Act 4 for sure but it's not peak either. MC feel like a joke compared to previous ones. Trail sequences is good at first but it's get boring real quick(Just like real life Trails:>)
Furina was my favourite character and still in Top 5 to this day but kinda sad that I felt nothing like her from the rest of cast. The Boss fight was cool though. Fontaine had the great finale for sure. But It's really not my taste at previous Acts. It's better than previous ones but it's very overrated at the same time.
# Natlan
Before we talked to Natlan, It started with drama by blackwashing the cast in the west. And then Sag Mafia Va Drama and people conplaining it doesn't feel like Nation of War.
First of all, Natlan is not for everyone. Just like Fontaine was not for me and some of my friends who didn't even wait for the Finales and left.
Second, Natlan may not have the best writing but sure it has the 10 times better pacing and presentation than the previous ones. For the first time, I felt like watching an anime or show by playing the Story. Very Less filler and straight to the point. Every heroes expect Kinich and Iansan plus Kachina have great arc. And the first time they used unique Final Boss Fight plus World Quest level Going to the Boss Arena sequence. The happiness I had at Kami No Shouki Domain to the Boss Arena back again.
And I might be too crazu but PMC and Mavuika holding Claymore felt like Herrsher of Flamescion and Soul Himeko at the Moon Halo Cutscene>w<
Capitano should have more screen time though but the ending of him is better than La Signora death for sure.
Still It's not for everyone and The AQs patches were in the time when the Sag Mafia was successfully brainwash the fact that Hoyo is at the wrong. Plus the hate from people in western community failed Boycott really stir up the hate of Natlan too.
Where the Fontaine peak at the finale, Natlan peaked at the entire Archon Quest series experiences.
# Nod Krai
Nod Krai is what if we combined Natlan pacing and presentation, Sumeru Story and Fontaine Writing as whole. Even though the Nefer glazing put me off during Act 4, The Entire Quest lines have been the bast so far. It's long or even longer than Sumeru but the good pacing help the experience.
The fact that MC back to being a MC at Natlan and Nod Krai really make me happy too. It's filled with more actio packed, more immersive experiences and the best villains we had. Rerir built up was great and the entire backstory of him didn't break the flow of the Archon Quests.
And Dottore on the other hand, He really remind me of Forget me Not in Reverse 1999. Straight up evil that we wanted to beat the shit out of him for what he did to Collie, Wanderer,Columbina and someone:3. We need this kind of monster as villain in Genshin for so long that I will be very pissed if they tried to make him good guy. He ain'r dead yet for sure and he will keep being a great villain without telling he is not dead by text.
The Plot Twists in Nod Krai were done very well compared to the previous nations. The Trailers hid some plot twists really well. MC felt like the most MC in the entire Genshin Impact yet and I will be expecting more.
Now that's I've done all. Lastly, this is my opinions. You don't have to agree or disagree everything. You are not me and I am not you so;v;
Overall I enjoyed the Story in Genshin. Even though I may not like some parts, it doesn't mean I am the hater if that region;v;
All in all,Goodluck on your pulls since I wasted a few chunk of your time:"3

I would say Nod-Krai is very close behind. It for sure has the best story and storytelling. But I gotta say 6.3 map put it further behind. The map feels off. Like they forcibly reduced the size of the entire zone but left POIs. So there is one point of interest right next to another. I leave the northern outpost and the eye of the abyss is literally right behimd the walls.
I don't really agree with the point about the "Nefer glazing," though. I didn't really see it has glazing at all, but I do think that part of the quest was too long and could have been made shorter.
That said, I’m still biased toward Sumeru, though. I really love the theme they used there. I’m also not feeling as much excitement while playing the NK AQs. Maybe that’s just me, but it definitely lowers my overall impression of NK, so I can’t really say it’s the best.
But with all the improvements shown in NK and the story finally moving into the endgame, I’m really looking forward to snez.
