I need some tips to improve my drawing skills.

if you are trying to learn by tracing then actually trace fully

What are you specifically trying to get better at? Drawing bodies or drawing Skirk?

1st, dont trace. Copy. Leave it to the side and try to copy it without tracing.

2nd, try learning more basic anatomic bodies first

3rd, learn to draw things in parts

Being able to observe and breaking down complex shapes to simpler ones will get you started.

Try to draw characters with simpler silhouettes to understand their shapes (Someone like Kuki or Amber).

Learning by tracing is fine to get you used to it. But try to follow the image better, the arm still looks off.

It’s mostly because you’re starting with skirk who has a lot going on. Try to do either a specific part (js head) or someone else.

Take your reference image, overlay a grid on it, then put it to the side. Next draw an equivalent grid on your drawing space, bigger, preferably but same amount of columns and rows. Now copy the reference image on your drawing space, using the grids to guide you on where the lines go. Then do another image, then do another image, then make the grid have less lines and do another image, less grid another image, less grid, another image, then remove the grids entirely and another image, and another, and another.

Stupid question but why are you asking here ? Ofc that there are artists here but mostly are just players, drawing characters from a fandom does not mean those people will help you more

Don’t ask in the Genshin Reddit, but look for stuff on YouTube. YouTube has a lot of good channels with drawing lessons. Doesn’t hurt to ask here but definitely don’t go here as the first place for this.
