Drift issue suggestion
I just got myself a DualSense Edge, so hopefully I don’t personally have to deal with this again, but I feel compelled to suggest an improvement for the sake of others who may be still annoyed daily with drift on the PS5 or any platform where drift is a non-negligible issue.
Can the developers not make it so changing your party members is just not possible when in battle, instead of forcing complete stillness before accessing the team comp menu?
The number of times I simply tried to change team deployment even in the safety of town, only to be interrupted by random drift of the left stick, was nearly intolerably annoying, and probably doesn’t need to be. I had three DualSense controllers, all treated exactly the same as I have all my other controllers (gently) since I started gaming 35 years ago, but these things are relentlessly unreliable and new controllers are expensive these days.
I can’t be the only person that has had this issue, can I? Haha

Also if they fix that stick drift, you’ll never get it again
The only thing that actually helps every single time is booting up the game and spin both sticks around a couple of times. No idea why, but that fixes the issue entirely for that gaming session. Guess this simply counts as 'Teyvat has its own rules'. 😅
But yeah, my suggestion was more made in the vein of “why does this idle period requirement even exist at all?” I assume just to make sure you aren’t changing teams mid-combat, but they clearly already don’t allow you to do certain other things mid-combat, so it just seems like my suggestion is a simple fix to a problem that I assume others like you and I experience.
