So is Dottore grand plan in Nod Krai is to…?
Switch body with the Traveler?
In the Albedo and Wanderer section shown us that Dottore is experiment on switching people with animals.
Because the Traveler status as Descender making them immune to Teyvat rules and authorities. And despite obtaining the trilune he still by the world fate as shown through his dialogue.
This would also explain why try so damn hard to get the Traveler to join him and not cause major harm to them.
What you guys thinks?

Even Columbina say he will use family bond (he thought her as his little sister) for his plan as long they useful.
And if I'm being completely honest, if push comes to shove, you can give Aino enough sweets and Sandrone will be back to yelling at Columbina within a week. If that kid managed to build Ineffa with a literal box of scraps, she could rebuild Sandrone with backing from someone like Arlecchino without any problem
Aino: For the Krumkakes!
As much as Aino is a genius, Ineffa is still mostly the framework of the dragonkin, Aino (iirc) mostly just repaired Ineffa back to function with some odds and ends, but far removed from what Ineffa formerly was.
Sandrone is not as easy because, unless Sandrone made an entire mental backup or something like that, the „Sandrone“ we get from Aino or the Fontaine Mechanics repairing her may be very different from the Sandrone that died sacrificing herself. We‘re directly told that removing an android‘s central core on its own is dangerous enough to cause a "factory reset“ (I.e. completely wiping their memories), so I don’t imagine "repairing“ Sandrone in a non-1:1 way would be much better.
The other option is that Dottore is a petty asshole that just wanted to kill Traveler for slighting him.
I know he said he was surprised, but that sounded more like mockery for the change he knew took place in Sandrone rather than legitimate surprise in the moment. We've seen him surprised before and after this scene, and his tell for it is usually his smile drops. His never did in that scene.
And if you instead mean the scene where Wanderer saves Traveler, I don't think he would've killed them there. It was retaliation for being hurt, him wanting to hurt them back, and likely knowing exactly how much the Traveler can take without dying.
That would explain why he doesn't just kill them besides "ego" (which is a lame cop-out). He wants to convince the Traveler that his power is real and worth trading.
And his backup plan would be to torture the sibling until their twin showed up and offer a similar deal. Huh.
Damn, this is good. This is so good I'll be kinda mad if it *isn't* this, lol.
I doubt consent is important if thats what he truly wanted to do.
Even those regular people that got implanted to the animals are still showing signs of rejection to cooperate.
That also goes with not just straight killing the traveler and take the body, you'd probably want the body to be as pristine as possible.
There's a plot reason for all of it.
And not really a million miles away from the same plot we've already had 15 times...
One obvious idea is that Dottore did not die because he transferred his mind at the last second.
He studied Divinity, doing the mecha god thing in Sumeru(i dont know how It was in the timeline without wanderer as a harbinger, but still) and with the lunar powers he was efctively above Teyvats restrictions, at least to a point(heavenly principales above them and all that)
The doctor burning inmirsul image, for example, It can be seen as his Desire to sever him from the control of the world, given that the existance of people, his fate, so to speak, IS in that tree, with maybe Divinity being his way to break free and burn that bond, so to speak.
Given his view on the world, i wouldnt be surprised if he wanted to be the worlds only god.
His experimenta with the people that couldnt escape in time shows that he was experimentig with souls and people.
So my interpretation was that he wanted to make Teyvat his test chamber with the traveller as the test subject, or in the silly way, make a world in a PC Game and having the traveller as the character to explore the world...like the sims, i Guess.
To be fair too, we kinda interrupted him in the first steps of his godhood, so he just wanted to achieve godhood and what we Saw was just him trying to learn to use the powers first hand, and besides wanting the Traveller as a companion/test subject(It was clearly inted in the quest that civilizations in Teyvat needed variables to not follow the patterns of all others, and a descender IS clearly one, as they have none of the fate stuff Dottore would), he was still figuring out what to do with his newdound powers.
But this IS just an exercise of thoughts, tho.
Also even tho we are Descender, we are still restrained by the world, just like him.
He probably needs the "variable" Traveller offer, because we can change outcome and gives more possibility.
but in doing that, they didn't steal Twin's Descender-ness, as it's tied to the "soul" instead of the physical body... which would explain why Twin isn't a Descender, unlike Traveler
Dottore is still binded by Irminsul. The Traveler is not.
>!when the voyager indwelled in a little boy, being a woman all throughout her life traveling the universe and then transferring her consciousness to a teyvat human, and thus left her body behind was she/he not still the second descender, influencing the fate of teyvat such as being the ancestor of khanreah!<
