Who funded the Lightkeepers?
This is a question that makes me very curious, Lightkeeper is practically a standing army in an area that has no centralize government to fund them, they are highly organize and highly trained, has uniform and several large facilities, maintain huge caches of weapons and equipments (literally the first time we saw an army using trucks for supply in this game), pays wages and give rations to their troops and there is no proof they do this by taxing local Nod-Kraians or having commercial wings of their own.
All other factions in Nod-Krai has ways to sustain themselves, Voynich Guild is a comercial guild, Curratorium of Secrets sells clandestine services and informations while Frostmoon Scions live off their native land, Lightkeepers doesn't seem to do any of these, their forcus is only to keep people safe and purge the wild hunt.
With that being said, from my perspective, i strongly incline to believe that they are being funded by Snezhnayan Government, it is not directly stated but there are some indications, Nod-Krai is still technically part of Snezhnaya, most of the members and high command are people coming from Snezhnaya, and from what Illuga said about their "Moonwagon" being a vehicle coming from Snenzhnaya that are being modified for Lightkeeper's use and Lightkeepers has no hostility whatsoever to Tsaritsa's own Fatui
from Snezhnaya perspective it also useful to maintain Lighkeepers, they are funding an already ehighly motivated and experienced troops, far better than sending Snezhnayan troops directly that would be politically impossible and wasting precious resources. not to mention it would make sure that the largest armed group in the region would be docile to Snezhnayan interest, while also keep whatever dangerous thing in Nod-Krai contained within Nod-Krai
