Do I have a chance at capturing radiance?

So I looked up my wishes on Paimon Moe and saw that I got that 5-star order.

Currently I have 77-ish wishes and I know that capturing radiance comes up after losing three 50/50s in a row. I want Varka and I’m currently collecting 90 wishes for hard pity, but at the same time I don’t know if he’ll be guaranteed because capturing radiance is lowkey confusing. (Also I don’t think it’s possible to grind 100 wishes during Luna IV)

Should I save up 180 wishes just in case or will capturing radiance come in and I’ll only need 70-90 wishes?

If this is all your wish story, next 50/50 will be exclusive 5-star with capturing radiance. Latter thing comes with 100% chance after 3 50/50 losses in a row.

Either you will win or you will get capturing radiance. So you are not guaranteed to see the capturing radiance animation. I might be wrong tho. ( I hope not )

Yeah most likely. I'm just confused on the fact that it's either 3 or 4 loss. But I'm like 85% sure it's 3 loss. So congratulations on your guaranteed 5 star.

this is how capturing radiance activate

example scenario: (based on your picture, this is your scenario)

-start at counter = 0

-lose 50/50 --> guaranteed
(counter = 1)

-lose 50/50 --> guaranteed
(counter = 2)

[next 5*pull has a chance to activate capturing radiance]

a.) if you win 50/50 congrats (counter =1)

b.) If you lose 50/50 --> guaranteed
(counter = 3)

[IF you are about to LOSE your next 50/50, Capturing radiance will activate and convert that loss into a win]

basically:

counter = plus one (if you lose 50/50)

counter= minus one (if you win 50/50)

@counter 3, you will trigger capturing radiance IF you are about to lose the 50/50

1. if you lose your next 50/50, CR.
2. if you win your next 50/50, go to 1.

cycle continues until CR is triggered. so if youre REALLY lucky and by some miracle youre winning your next 5 50/50s and lose on the 6th, CRs still gonna be triggered.

if CR is active, reset lose counter to 0.
