Snezhnaya might revolve around Charged Attacks as one of their gimmicks
Hear me out. We’re getting to the point where we are slowly but surely filling up niches to complete the roster and make every character feel good to play.
So currently we have a bunch of characters who have strong charged attacks, yet not all of these are quite yet meta in their Charged Attack playstyle:
\- Columbina
\- Diluc
\- Ganyu
\- Tighnari
\- Mona
\- Keqing
\- Ayaka
\- Raiden
\- Sethos
\- Neuvilette
\- Mavuika
\- Lyney
Now I think there’s one element, and by extension 1 upcoming character, that can bring them all together to enhance all these units. The clue comes from Columbina, and that is: \*\*Dendro.\*\*
Dendro carries and enables all of these units in some way, with caveats for some:
\- Columbina: needs Dendro to enable Charged attack, simple enough
\- Diluc: needs enough Cryo application (Tsaritsa? Or Kaeya C6) while also needing little Dendro application so as to not botch the double-melt reactions.
\- Ganyu: she loves a good Burnmelt reaction
\- Tighnari: he likes EM and therefore Dendro resonance, add in Electro for the Spreads
\- Mona: she’s also a bit of a fan of Burning to enable her Vapes, so enter Durin and +1 (Bennett, future buff unit)
\- Keqing: she loves Dendro for Spread and Aggravate, makes building the last 2 slots a bit easier (Kazuha, Baizhu, etc.)
\- Ayaka: another fan of BurnMelt
\- Raiden: is actually not gonna work here sadly, given burst mode doesn’t count as charged attacks
\- Sethos: another Spread/Aggravate enjoyer
\- Neuvilette: his passive draconic stack is enabled by a Bloom reaction, so there’s a much needed team slot that can’t go to waste by not contributing to that - but also think this enables a BurnVape situation to give Neuvillete more Charged attack nukes, over 100k ticks. So let’s say a team of Neuvilette, Mavuika, Dendro Charged Attack buffer, and Ineffa for the sake of survivability and Lunar Charged - you fully stack Neuvilette while also enabling tons of reactions within the team that synergise well (Mavuika with enough EM built to capitalise on Overload, Vape, Burgeon; Ineffa with enough EM to capitalise in Overload, Lunar-Charged, Hyperbloom; Neuvilette with enough EM for his Vaporises and Lunar-Charge damage).
\- Mavuika: wheelies for days. Same issue with Diluc though, you’ll need a ton of Cryo application to compensate for the Burning tax - Tsarista+Citlali combo perhaps?
\- Lyney: if he’s mono-pyro, then it works perfectly with Burning in play to keep his passive enabled. Although he could also capitalise on some BurnMelt gameplay if we get some good off-field Cryo applicators (Tsaritsa).
I was gonna say this could also be a nice fix/addition to Physical attackers, but sadly Eula’s burst does not take into account her Chargd attack to build up her burst damage lol. So unless this dendro unit were to also buff normal attacks, then you can include the likes of Qiq, Yoimiya, Ayato, C6 Diluc, etc etc.
What do you guys think? If there were to be an upcoming Charged Attack buffer, which element do you think is best for that? Also, if it were to be Dendro, what role other than buffing would you want them to be (Dendro shield, healer even though Baizhu is that guy, or some kind of subdps).
