Wasn't a big enough issue to need petitioning Skirk. Playing through her NK anecdotes she basically telegraphed that the protags would be able to handle whatever trials were coming soon, as if things were already planned out.
Looking at what she said about the moons in her voicelines and the description in her own sig weapon, she isn't ignorant of such matters.

Oh definately. She just wants Bina to handle it first because overall itd be better for the Trilune authority to be returned to its rightful owner through her own actions, and things would be better in the long run.

Barbeloth *just so happened* to be invited by Alice to the Moon Prayer Night festival to do tarot readings, which became one of the important anchor points of the entire Bina time paradox. All that "he outsmarted them and Alice is very angry" was a show.
All the Hex had to do was send their apprentices, send some knick knacks and guide the Nod Krai secondaries with some support from Nicole (who was entirely unserious, more concerned with flexing to the mortals and dumping lore) to alter the state of Teyvat to an outcome favourable to them, under the control of someone friendly to them.

I could see Alice being a midge upset, because she would very much prefer the moons be kept for Klee. But yes, no way it just so happened the three current members of the Hexenzirkel just so happened to be remote calling into Nod-Krai.

One can only imagine how badly things will get in Snezhnaya. Surely, whatever tf Dottore did will get noticed by the Heavenly Principles. This will probably make the Tsaritsa hasten her plan, become desperate, get Mavuika's gnosis, probably get Columbina's help (or force her) since she's a trilune goddess now, Everwinter Without Mercy, perhaps we might even witness every archon uniting since Dori went back to Sumeru to inform Nahida that shit's about to get real and then in turn contact the rest of the archons. Wanderer felt like there's a chip on his shoulder still. That glitching end screen. The Hexenzirkel gets involve. I hope Alice becomes playable by this point.
Honestly, Nod Krai is an amazing story and a setup for what's to come next in Snezhnaya.
