Varka gives off such strong dad vibes, it’s hilarious. It’s really funny that Klee is just like. A tiny child. And yet, the fate of their city depends on how much her parents like the knights, lol. I desperately want to see Varka and the Mondstadt KoF crew interact, I hope it happens soon!

I think it's gonna be a mix of both. There's a thought he has while composing that letter suggesting he might officially promote her, so arguably that puts more strain on her, but it also means she might be able to delegate certain tasks to him.

Jean's father iirc already went back to Mondstadt, and according to the soldier, he is so good in administrative that it takes 3 person to do what he does since he is already gone. So assuming her father will help Jean, then yes Jean will have a bit of rest. But then again her father is a deacon iirc so helping favonious admin task might not be possible when he reach Mondstadt

Additionally, iirc, Varka wants to promote Jean as the Grandmaster already?(Correct me if im wrong) Its on the same scene in OP about giving titles.

Needless to say, even in Nod Krai, Varka is not really doing heavy admin stuff

It's either Varka wanting to actually promote her or acknowledging he's been gone so long that she may as well be the grandmaster at this point.

If we go off Lantern Rite being an annual event in-universe, Varka's has been gone for about 4-5 years. Not a crazy thought for him to have at this point.
