Why are these even options

I saw a post complaining about this in the ZZZ subreddit recently but god is this such a bigger problem in this game

Like why even make them options when it's clear the traveller just says them both? Just give the VAs some more lines.

What's worse is sometimes they give you 2 options and when you pick one it's very clear that the traveller said one and not the other

So that you cannot auto play the whole story while being afk. It's one of those strategy thats designed to increase immersion as well as hinder immersion at the same time.

I recall saying this in a similar thread in the past, but it feels like the devs have banned themselves from giving Traveler direct dialogue and then circumvent around that ban by giving Traveler voiced lines. And people are now celebrating that Traveler is getting voiced lines more often after 5 years, ignoring how awkward that is in retrospect.

Yeah, i forgot to mention it in the main post but it's awesome the traveller is getting more voiced lines in nod-krai, but i still wish dialogue options like this should be changed into voiced lines and maybe even change old lines like this into voiced lines, that's just a wish tho, i doubt they'll ever do that

And the choices barely matter if at all. An option MIGHT give slightly different wording in the next response, but rarely.
