I think I understand how Rerir escaped the Moon’s Reflection (Moongate Prison). The most likely explanation is that Il Dottore revived or recreated him. We seem to have a similar case with Columbina, who poured her body into Kuuvaki in Nod-Krai in order to be reborn.

But this raises a much bigger question.

If the Moon’s Reflection / Moongate Prison is specifically designed to imprison Divinity (the soul) and Authority, then how did Columbina get both of those back after being reborn?

According to canon:

“So perhaps this space is specifically designed to imprison divinity (soul) and authority, but not the physical body…”

If that’s the case, then rebirth alone shouldn’t be enough. Her body could return, sure, but her divinity and authority should still be sealed.

So what actually happened here?

• Did someone or something retrieve her divinity from the Moongate?

• Was her authority never fully sealed in the first place?

• Or does rebirth bypass the prison’s function somehow?

Curious what everyone thinks, because right now this feels like a huge missing piece in how the Moongate Prison actually works.
