i came back to genshin around a week ago, mainly cuz of sandrone. i pulled bina and the more i look at her the more i realise how much i actually like her despite all the hate shes gotten (ive been waiting for her since the la signore funeral thing) i only have c0r0 and was honestly wanting to go for c6 now that i have so much more to do, exploration, story, quests, build bina (and nefer), and even save for sandrone and any supports for her. (shes coming back ok) i was just wondering the average amount of pulls i would need to go from c0r0 to c6r1 and if c6 would even be worth it (i mean i have read it over and it seems pretty good) just so i can think about how much id be spending. yea i know its stupid in the first place. but its my money ok.

You guys always add so much pointless background info that just sounds dumb only for it to be completely irrelevant to your actual question.

Spending for a 5 star character is about $250 to guarantee them assuming you lose the 50/50 and you trade starglitter for rolls. Just multiply that by the amount of cons you want for a rough estimate.

Her high end cons seem kinda lame tbh. It’s just a crit buff at c6 which is nice but it’s not a game changer. I see a lot of ppl dropping at 2.

Meta wise if you want to c6 someone c6 lauma and don’t even get nefer.

I was saving for her for the same reason but I really wanted her to work with my Nilou and she doesn’t so I just went for lauma and columbina.

You run into a problem where nefer is an on field, and if you c6 columbina she can be on field, and a c6 lauma wants to on field too. So I recommend picking one to be the main dps.

Getting the lauma con to heal is really nice for team flexibility tho.

columbina c6 can be on field? oh boy. so what team would i run with a c6 columbina. i can pull lauma on a rerun but only with c1 or c2. what else would i run with her

Columbina does lunar bloom damage with her charge attack if you have dendro on the team. You build her like nefer and support her like nefer. Unlike nefer tho u can still do reactions so I use her in my Nilou team but you might do hyperbloom.

You could put nefer on her team too but then you kinda want to use nefer as you fight over charges.

Bina, lauma, nahida then (nefer, nilou, or raiden/kuki) basically pick nefer, bloom, or hyperbloom. This is why lauma c1 is nice. There is t a good healer aside from lauma and prototype amber on bina.

Average rules you won’t lose that much, and with Capturing Radiance, it’s even better now than Pre-Natlan. Not even counting the average 10% refund on the pulls you get (ie 1000 wishes usually refunds around 100 pulls as well)

C2 Is the best stopping point for her tbh, if you wanna play Columbina on field you should pull Lauma (and maybe her c1 so the team doesn't need a healer); anyway if you wanna calc your probability to get a certain cons in a number of pulls you can do so on here: https://hutaobot.moe/tools/gachacalc

assuming worst case scenario (which you should assume) where you loose every 50/50 and have to go to pity, c6r1 would run you to around 1200 wishes, less if you are lucky.

in your situation going from c0r1 to c6r1 would be around 900 wishes worst case or $1800. winning 50/50s and getting early 5 stars can drop it significantly.

Yep! And with Bina’s Welkin Moon blessing, we could save up anywhere between 250-350 pulls by then. (Almost able to C2R1 Sandrone, maybe with some top ups or star glitter refunds)

A C6 char costs anywhere between 600-800 pulls on average, outliers at 300 or 1000 pulls, but 600-800 is the average expectation. The refund starglitters will help reduce this count too. I personally have C6 Columbina just because I like that character and have been saving a year for her, 649 pulls. Saving for Sandrone next!

i considered going for c6 but it is so lazy jus straight up giving cv

went to c2 ineffa instead and roll her weap

the thing about bina is that her teams (lauma/ineffa) all benefit more from their respective cons (quills/healing from lauma, higher dmg from ineffa)

No to C6. She gets a big power spike at C2R1 then spend the rest of the pulls on Lauma. You will have a much better on field columbina for less pulls.

C2 I believe is where most people stop, given the benefits, as well as diminishing-ish returns from C4 and C6.

I have C2R1 and believe me, she slaps really hard, esp with the right team comp and artifacts.
