im sure you're just joking but incase you aren't. while lunar charged is considered electro type in regards to RES, it doesn't actually apply any electro so you aren't able to chain any further reactions from it, in the same sense that overload reaction deals pyro dmg but doesnt apply pryo

thanks for checking this, i had to test this myself to see how it really worked in detail.
with no party members it does indeed default to lunar charged.
however if you have atleast 1 other party member of electro/dendro/geo it will default to that respective element instead.
if you have more than 1 of those elements it will give the priority to lunarcharged>lunarbloom>lunar crystalise.
2 of the same element is given priority over that.
for clarification this was c1 bina with fresh skill each time, resetting her gravity inbetween and not triggering any reactions befor her skill use.

Yes she does. You don't even need a dendro character either. Just have her attack something like a dendro slime or other enemy that infuses itself with dendro and she can collect verdant dew. At C1 you can only have Columbina in your party and just have 3 elements at the ready.

In the overworld, Verdant dew is saved even if you change characters. You can generate 3 Verdant dew and then change your team to have no dendro characters and Bina would still be able to pull off 3 Lunar Bloom CAs.

I ask because you seem to be wholly or partially unaware of the fact that gacha players, at least the whales and dolphins, will willingly spend ungodly amounts of money for a character/weapon/skin/etc., and prioritize doing so over getting a newer device, purchasing healthier and less-cheaper foods, and sometimes even going so far as to waste their entire bank accounts.
The reasoning is usually simple, but sometimes it can be more complex. Obsession and addiction are usually the main causes for spending vast amounts of money, but sometimes it can just come down to them liking a character A LOT. For example, I would willingly get c6 Columbina if I was financially able to because I absolutely **love her**. If I didn’t already pull almost every other character that comes out then I would have just saved the necessary primogems.
I can totally understand viewing spending that much money on something as intangible as a video game character as ridiculous. Most people should not spend that kind of money on something they might lose interest in. But sometimes of us are more dedicated. I’ve been playing for five years (since November 2020) and I have zero intentions of quitting. Not only that, but I have a character I am deeply interested in, so I possess the justification I need to make such a financially arduous decision.
To end my yap I’ll just say this: some people don’t view spending all that money as wasteful, and that’s simply because they have different values and priorities.

Unlike with Columbina, Lauma for example will always have the dew stock present on the UI even when empty. But with Columbina and no other lunar bloom characters present, they won’t show up on the UI until you accumulate some (if you attacked a dendro slime or hypostasis for example if there were no other dendro characters).
So once you’ve accumulated some regardless of who did it, or even if you remove Columbina/Lauma from the party, once you add Columbina to any team again she will still have the previously accumulated dew which will now be present on the UI (assuming they haven’t been used since). The UI difference is probably because dews are more optional for her compared to Lauma or Nefer.

Basically the way her E skill works is that when you do lunar reactions while it's active, she accumulates points to a meter based on the lunar reaction. Once the meter is full she does one instance of big damage using the reaction that accumulated the most points. For example if Lunar-Crystallize was triggered the most times during the E's duration, she will do 1 instance of big Lunar-Crystallize damage.
Her C1 makes it so that anytime you use the E skill, she will immediately do the instance of lunar damage without needing to fill up the meter beforehand. Since there are no valid characters or ways to do lunar reactions in the party, that instance of lunar damage is defaulted to Lunar-Charged. Which is how everyone in the clip was able to spam the reaction.
