Hello, im here to share a fix that in case someone needs it.

# My problem was:

>Suddenly my dual sense wont vibrate in genshin after my controller unexpectedly disconnected. But, the haptic vibration works on other Hoyoverses game like ZZZ.

# My Fix (for windows):

>**Direct the audio output for genshin impact to dual sense.** You can do it in sound menu in Windows's "Setting". Then, test it by doing plunge attack. If it works, it is a sign that genshin has recognized your dualsense output\*\*. Change the audio back to your main output speaker/headphone.\*\*

# Why it works?

>Genshin uses audio output to drive the dualsense haptic vibrator. If the game fails to recognize the dualsense audio channel, it will simply not vibrate the dual sense.

# Why I want the dualsense to vibrate in genshin?

>As genshin also playable in PS5, it supports the dualsense natively, including it immersive haptic vibration. DualSense will add significant level of immersion with its haptic vibrator and adaptive trigger. Unfortunately there is no other controller that can match the DualSense immerse vibration in genshin, currently.

# A quick Tutorial for players who want to make DualSense vibration fully works in Genshin PC client:

1. **USE USB-C CABLE to connect ot PC (mandatory).** You need to know that dualsense is using audio channel to drive the vibration engine. The only way to transfer audio without delay is either using cable or high speed dongle. But there is no dongle for DualSense for windows. For why you can have vibration in PS5? I think there is an equivalent device works as "high speed dongle" integrated in PS5.
2. **You MUST configure your Dual Sense speaker as a "full range speaker".** Go to Sound setting by search "Change system sound" > select playback tab > select DualSense Controller > Right click and configure > Next > Check both the Full Range Speakers. (shown in (figure 1))
3. **If you feel the vibration is too weak,** you can enable enhancement setting as shown in (figure 2). Access it by select the dualsense speaker > right click > Properties > select "enhancement" tab
4. There may be some bug. It is advised to run **PlayStation Accessories** once before run the game to re-set the dualsense configuration, update driver, or update your dual sense device. Get it on playstation website. (figure 3). Close the app before game. You don't need to repeat it though. Run it if you feel your dualsense bugging.

Happy adventuring teyvat!
