Yes, I get sub 50ms for most other games and servers. But genshin is never lower than 128. 8 swaps is one second lost.

Since last updated, the game goes to up to 700ms for most of the day. And that 700 isn't even true i think, realistically picking up an item too like 5 seconds when I tested.

I wonder where that difference comes from, because that's way more than just signal travel time.

Same here! I was playing Venti-Lumine(D)-Fischl-Furina. I used Venti's burst but by the time it switched to Fischl(or Lumine) the black hole was gone-
Oh and I once used Furina's heal but instead of immediately switching, she fell off a cliff before the other char appeared.

I feel this so much. As of late, my ping in the evening has been averaging 600-700 for _specifically_ Genshin, for some reason, and that is with an ethernet cable.
It wasn't like this in the past month. I don't know what happened. It does clear up, but only at like late hours _sometimes._ My ping in the evenings was alright before this.

I used to get around 120-150ms (yellow) ping back then. But now it’s constantly above 300ms.
I really wish that character switch is not on the server side for this game. Even absorbing energy particles is affected by the ping.

You could use Windscribe, Nord etc for that. Cloudflare works for me as a free option

well, with such a ping ... gosh, I'd never play anything, if I woudl have to suffer under such horrible pings, that make games literally unplayable, ok yes, they are playable, but unplayable in the sense, that they dont make much fun.. and thats what games are first and foremost all about, to make fun... but such insane pings just drain all the fun out of games...
I'm lucky that I have never had to experience on my European Server I plan on such horrible pings.. always running in the green with like 15-25ms.. so I litterally can't even fathom how it must be to play literally always with such high terrible pings, that it affects so massively all kinds of possible reaction speeds of the game, like switching characters, aniomations of all sorts, inputs you have to do for events and so on and so forth...
must be surely very stressful to play the game like this with such big lag always.
