could the traveler be able to purify arlecchino abyssal crimson moon power in lore?

since traveler can purify abyssal power, could they just purify arlecchino and do you think she would be left with just the iridescent moon side of her power without the abyssal? since arlecchino’power is from the iridescent moon that merged with the abyss. and if you think the traveler isn’t able to purify her can you tell me were in the more is it said? i’m asking here bc the genshin lore sub don’t allow question post

In the Archon Quest, Arlecchino mentions that if the Traveler tried to purify her abyssal power, her hands would crumble away. The Abyss is a part of her now, it’s in her blood.

They mentioned this in the Nod Krai AQ. The Traveler theoretically could, but any parts they purified would be gone. Meaning the Arlecchino would be left without her hands. The same can be assumed for the iridescent moon marrow, since it fused with the abyss, any attempts to purify it could result in its destruction (though that’s just conjecture)

Somewhat related, I suspect the traveler can't really purify Abyssal power. I think they just absorb it into themself. Their constitution is so vast that the amount they absorbed has no impact on them currently, but if they were to continue "purifying" the abyssal power all over the place? Might eventually start to get to them.

That's been a popular theory for quite a while now. It's specially obvious in Simulanka, when everyone is helping Durin, their power streams go towards Durin whereas the Traveler's stream goes in the opposite direction. Then the Xbox wings mentioned how the Vinster King intended for the Abyss Sibling to absorb unlimited Abyssal power. And like LunarSDX mentioned, Skirk does question if Traveler is purifying the Abyss or "doing something else".

Makes me wonder if, after absorbing enough of it, will the Traveler unlock an Abyssal element? Or will they suffer ill effects before anything like that ever happens?

It's inside the traveler, not purified. If Traveler can absorb it, they might be able to learn how to release it at some point.

Considering the Abyss Sibling... I'm going with ill effects first, then Traveler's friends stop them from absorbing more so they never reach the Abyss Sibling's level of mastery over the Abyss Power.

The Traveler can purify abyss, not regenerate body parts. If he gets rid of her abyss power, she'll lose her hands.

As far as we are revealed, the traveler can purify abyssal power but only in limited amounts. The Natlan AQ showed how she could relief the pain in an NPC exposed to Abyss power but she could not purify her completely so, I doubt she could do something about Arlecchino.

Always weird,where the hell is the abyss go inside Traveller ??? Lauma say his entire soul felt like enormous space when Moon Marrow gone inside him.
You know what,i still think Rerir already defeated when Traveller purify his heart. There is nothing Rerir can do after that.
