If Genshin decides to add lunar swirl, lunar vaporize, and lunar freeze what do you think they would do?

Cause realistically if Genshin wants to continue making nod krai characters they would either have to make them all hydro, geo, electro, or dendro or add lunar reactions for the other elements to make make 5 stars for those elements.

If Linnea is fae and isn't just an adventure guild character who has a fae companion, I don't understand how they're going to justify not giving her new reactions, but, well, that's what's happening. The leak I have seen suggested she was cryo and there's no lunar freeze.

Um bro, 2 of the designs are literally charas from nk, where tf u get hex charas? Only confirmed hex charas are nicole and varka. Aftrer that its lohen and 2 nk charas, and last is sandrone. Maybe look into wat charas they are before spouting nonsense.

It is my understanding that >!Lohen is a knight of favonius or he otherwise works with Varka's unit. He's not Nod Krai. Linnea is an adventurer guild character who might have a fae companion like the way Xiangling has Guoba. But I also heard she was probably cryo and there's *no lunar freeze.*. Nicole and Varka are all but confirmed Hex. And Sandrone is fatui (foreign) and not involved in the lunar reaction meta at all. She's 6.7, so probably related more to whatever the next region gimmick is. !<

We genuinely had 0 idea abt lunar crystalize til we saw semi-reliable leaks of bina/zibai. Ur acting like its set in stone that theres none. We don't know for certiain yet ppl wants to pivot oh theres only 3 bc xyz. But fail to remember that we didn't learn abt said reaction til we got info on kits.

And for linnea, she is literally from nk bro, even if u wanna argue she isn't, nefer isn't either. Nuff said there. Ur acting like nk charas are the only ones with lunar stuff tied to them

Nobody knew for sure that there would be lunar crystallize, that's true. But nobody said "there won't be lunar crystallize" either. On the other hand, we have heard multiple people say straight out that there would not be lunar swirl, lunar vape, or lunar freeze.

I don't understand the appeal of holding out hope that they'll create some other new reaction and guessing what it will be like. What's the point?

And if Linnea is from Nod Krai, ok, that's fine. I possibly made one hyperbolic mistake. I am correct that there won't be new reactions, but I guess there technically might be new characters from nod Krai. Feels kind of silly if they just have visions, though, instead of moon wheels. Why even care where they're from if they don't interact with the gimmick?

Lunar Freeze would do nothing except enabling Lunar Shatter, which deals way more damage than regular shatter.

Lunar swirl creates a whirlpool that pulls everything in.

and with a different gimmick, like delusion melt, delusion frozen and delusion swirl, but i don't know if they will add new/variant reaction in next region because is a archon region (cryo) while nod-krai is no-archon region (lunar). maybe in khaenri'ah with abyss reactions i guess

Lunar Vape - Create a steam cloud around the enemy. If you use Pyro again within the cloud it explodes dealing a single instance of AOE Pyro damage. If you use Cryo within the cloud it coalesces into Mist dealing DoT Cryo damage that increases the more the enemy moves in that Mist.

Lunar Freeze - Freezes all common and elite monsters, bypassing any resistance to regular Freeze they may have (bosses are still exempted). Shattering a Lunar Frozen enemy is multiplative reaction rather than a transformative reaction.

Lunar Swirl - Deals an additional instance of Hydro Swirl DMG compared to normal Hydro Swirl. Additionally, enemies that have been affected by Lunar Swirl get their Poise, Interruption Resistance, and Weight reduced for a period of time. Much like Frozen, however, each time you refresh the CC debuff the amount of time the debuff lasts gets shorter until it goes on cooldown.

I don't know, these are just ideas.

Jahoda already exists and is anemo so they’re not limited to those 4 elements alone for Nod Krai characters as not all Nod Krai characters have moon wheels.

Yeah but Jahoda is a 4 star and all the 5 stars related to the moon or are released in Nod Krai have moon wheels. They can release a 5 star nod krai character without a moonwheel, but that would just make the already limited amount of options lunar reaction even more limited.

Adding lunar vape or lunar freeze would only make lunar reaction teams more limited as then instead of 3 you would have 5 lunar reaction based teams that all want a hydro support with Columbina and Aino as the only options if you need ascendant gleam.

Keeping it to three reactions with more support or DPS options probably is the best thing to do if people want flexibility. For future characters there’s still room for another off field lunar crystallise support or maybe even a hydro DPS as an alternative to playing Columbina on field.

Editing to add they could also do an anemo DPS from Nod Krai without needing to add lunar swirl. Ifa for example already works great with Nod Krai supports so while it would be repetitive to release a 5 star version of him that’s essentially what a lunar swirl team would be.

Lunar swirl would be lame, because it'd be like lunar crystalize and be hydro only.

Lunar vape will either never happen or not do what you want it to do. Like Mavuika will drop the Rats from the Skies and do her normal vape damage and then second flat lunar number will pop on screen.

Lunar freeze would potentially be great, giving power to a reaction that's dead besides Skirk(But you aren't playing Skirk to play freeze, you're playing freeze because Skirk makes you).

I doubt that Lunar Vape or Lunar Freeze would be added, mostly because Cryo and Pyro characters don't really need it at all. On the other hand, I think something like an Lunar Swirl could be possible. As for what it could be, I think the best option to make it fit in with the other lunar reactions is to just make it something like Columbina's skill where a big hydro-anemo orb is on the field, and it acts as a conduit for lunar reactions, so if you do a bunch of Lunar-Charged damage, it'll also do Lunar-Charged DMG, and so on.

Lunar Freeze would be great because that means Columbina will have a better synergy with Skirk but given that Columbina doesn't trigger any other Lunar reaction outside of Bloom, Charge and Crystallize, I don't think we're getting new lunar reactions.

The difference is that Lunar Crystallize was only introduced when Columbina was released and she can trigger all lunar reactions. If there's Lunar Freeze or Swirl, why can't she trigger it now?
