Expeditioning, their stay in Nod-Krai is pretty recent they've been on the move the past couple years

He and his knights are bums.
While he was doing that the traveler saved 6 nations

Getting there, unlike the Traveler they do not have the luxury of waypoints, and traveling from a nation to a neighbor one usually takes weeks lore-wise

Gameplay-wise the map is shrinked down a lot compared to the lore. For example it is stated that just crossing the Sumeru Desert takes weeks. In the latest Archon Quest >!we take a look at Teyvat from the Moon and not only we can see that Mondstadt and Liyue are so far apart that they're located in different hemispheres, but also that both Mondstadt City and Liyue Harbor are big enough to be seen from space!<

And he's highlighting the difference between gameplay and canon? You cannot be this dense.

There's enough lore to suggest that the distance between Mondstadt to Liyue Harbor is 3 days. The story just doesn't bother going through the boring details of "Traveler and Paimon camped here, here and here before making it into Liyue Harbor".
And that's the time for walking with the clear goal of reaching a defined destination and nothing else. The Knights of Favonious would have likely marched (slower) instead and not knowing where the wind would lead them, not to mention probably stopping to help the locals in some capacity.

My god the mental gymnastics. You claim bs about lore and you don't even know what's written in the main AQ/SQs. Teyvat is canonically minuscule compare to Earth.

While I see the tag, still want to add this since some people actually still miss it.
They've been in Main Snezhnaya up north. They recently went to Nod-Krai.
From Weinlessenfest event from 3.1 event:
>**Mika:** "Alright, now that your fears are allayed, I trust you'll be ready to listen to the rest of my letter. I'm writing to you **from the northernmost reaches of Teyvat** by the light of a stove. The expedition forces are stationed here while we restock."
>**Mika:** "I once told you that the purpose of this expedition was related to a dangerous secret from days long past. I am still unable to disclose more than this, but suffice to say that you needn't worry about how our mission is progressing."
From Jean's BD mail in March of 2025:
>A long time ago, Mother wrote to me that the Knights of Favonius' expedition had made significant progress. Based on new clues they had gathered, **the Grand Master decided to head to Nod-Krai for further investigation**, while Mother and several other knights were ordered to return to Dornman Port for defense.

They didn't had a clear destination, they just went wherever Varka led them. One time we got some news about the expedition before it got to Nod Krai they were in Natlan.

they've been looking after Mondstadt's horses but sadly none of them survived which puts the cavalry captain out of work
