What should I do? (Help with Lunar-Crystalize Team)

So, I'm considering skipping Zibai because she doesn't really speak to me design wise, but I love my geo girlies. I currently don't own Navia (will try get her on her next re-run probably), so I was considering using Noelle as a main DPS. My questions are as follows:

Is this a rediculous idea? What artifact set should I run Noelle on? Is the Night of Sky's Unveiling my choice given she's being used on a lunar team, or should I use something else?

The way I see it, if I really regret it that badly I can always just try get her on the re-run, but regardless, thank you for any information / help you might be able to provide me! :3

EDIT: The team pictured is what I would like to use (C1 R1 Chiori non negotiable)

Beware Navia and Ningguang for Geo teams - unlike other Geos, they scale with ATK rather than DEF. So most things that will buff Geo don't buff them. Don't know if Illuga does any DEF buffing or if he's all just Moonsign stuff.

But Gorou is also on his banner, he's a great Geo buffer but again not so suited for Navia or Ningguang.

Noelle/Itto/Zibai are the on-field options here and Chiori/Albedo the off-fielders worth thinking about.

I would be interested to see how Kachina stacks up alongside Noelle in this instance. I don't know how their multipliers compare, but Kachina does have access to Scroll of the Hero of Cinder City and she creates a Geo construct. No healing, but maybe Columbina is running Prototype Amber.

I think that any lunar crystalize needs columbina and illuga, his burst adds a lot of dmg to lunar Cryst.

Now what i dont know if this team can run with solo hydro, never cared enough to check the leaks about elementals aplication and reactions to make a good decision. But gonna guess more team will be: Columbina - Iluga - on field geo - 1 sub dps/suport (geo or hydro).

Ok, I've been thinking about this. I'm a Geo main and I have Chiori C1 on three teams, so it's close to me.

I have Columbina and I was wondering if I could use her for Lunar-Charged teams, putting her with non-Moonsign Electro and Hydro units to convert the whole team to Lunar-Charged since I don't have Ineffa or Flins. She's not currently built enough to see much difference, so I can't say with much proof.

But the advice I received was that Columbina's kit buffs Lunar reactions from others. And while it does technically enable them (converting Bloom to Lunar Bloom, Crystalise to Lunar Crystalise and Electro-Charged to Lunar-Charged), her multipliers are such that she is not good at being the source of those reactions. She's much better at buffing Flins or Lauma supplying those reactions than she is at supplying them herself.

And, alas, I'm guessing Zibai would fall into the same boat. I don't know for sure, haven't checked her kit. But we know the Nod-Krai 4\* units can't convert reactions, so Lunar Crystalise can't come from Illuga. On that team, it has to come from Columbina, and I don't think she'll give you the damage you're after. It looks like if you want Lunar Crystalise, at the moment your only reasonable option is Zibai.

But I wouldn't rule out Itto/Noelle + Chiori + Gorou + a shielder as a conventional Mono Geo team. I do that and it's a lot of fun. Chiori also goes great in a double Geo core with Xilonen/Yun Jin/Kachina/Zhongli/Albedo while women like Yoimiya or Varesa are on-field, but you probably already know that.

I very much appreciate the detailed response, Zibai definitely feels like *the* lunar crystalize unit.

Chiori is the goat, so I'll definitely consider making a double/mono-geo team if I don't end up getting zi-bai, at least her banner will (hopefully) let me get gorou cos he's one of, if not the only, 4* I'm still missing.

Either Husk or Night Sky on Noelle is fine. Normal Def/Geo/Crit build
