[6.3 Map] A different experience of a new region! Completed 100% without unlocking the map and even largely without the compass!
When 6.3 landed last week, I wanted to give myself a small challenge. I noticed, that it's easy to "jump and teleport" a lot through the map and not take in the depths and details if the map is unlocked and you see everything. So I played 100% of the new region without unlocking the statues - and I'll only unlock them now lol
I even played most of it without the compass - and only used it for the last 15% of exploration. And for the first few hours of exploration I even disabled the UI so I couldn't see anything (no healthbar, no minimap, etc.).
I honestly encourage everyone to try this out once or so - it's an interesting way to experience Genshin Impact, since you are forced to look at the environment and see the landmarks in details. It was definitely lots of fun and I'll probably do this next time as well!!
Honestly, not seing the map makes each new encounter even more exciting. You never know what you'll find around the corner - and not knowing how the "north" looked like made for a nice surprice! It feel more like *actual adventuring*, when you are really surprised and can't use a detailed map which "spoils" you many things upfront.
It took me a looong time until I even found the Favonious Knights meeting point, cuz I had accidentally missed it. And without the map you don't know where you've exactly been or not. The teleport waypoints give you only a rough indication of where you are.
Coop-players who wanted to farm my Columbina flowers were probably surprised to see my map xD
Anyways, maybe this post will inspire you
