*Spoiler* Trounce Domain
Hoping I don’t ruin someone’s day, but I have a general question and concern about I will express further below
The new Trounce Domain (being vague incase people ignored the warnings) feels like a letdown after the AQ. I was under the pretense that Nuke DPS chars like Mauvuika, Plunge Diluc, etc would have a hard time due to \[Redacted\]’s healing factor (that doesn’t happen in the reruns after the AQ) but, it’s a absurdly easy fight for me considering there’s no conditions/team limitations, \[Redacted\] can die from taking out one of his copies, and the mechanics like don’t move or inverted controls don’t last long enough to have a meaningful effect in their fight. Half of me is relieved the boss isn’t so op you definitely need co-op or a high skill level, but the other half feels disappointed we didn’t get 2 trounce domains this year (previous hyped up boss which ACTUALLY had 2 phases) and the difficulty was harder to compete the first time compared to reruns

You do have a point tho
The casual player doesn't optimize the time they would take to reach a goal, so using a lower difficulty and getting less rewards will spend more time but will eventually lead to the same result.
And frankly, I agree. If the individual phases aren't going to be interesting anyways (they never are), then just let me be done with it.
Edit: Then again, looking back at the last couple weekly bosses, the archon quest finale boss tends to be 1-shottable, while the second weekly boss requires multiple phases.
Natlan dragon - 1shot. Chess boss, 3 phases.
Fontaine whale, 1shot. Arlecchino, 2 phases
That's not really much to base a pattern on though.
