Honestly, the key to using this weapon is to save your resources and not level it past around level 50–60. You’ll probably still overcap, but you get solid stats.

Currently, most HP-scaling DPS characters get so much Crit Rate from other sources that Crit Rate on weapons becomes unnecessary. It was possible to build around this with Mualani, but Columbina overcaps on Crit Rate with this weapon at level 90.

The thing is, the stats are good, but I wouldn’t bother wasting resources to level this weapon to 90 unless you’re planning to run Crit Kokomi.

Why not just max this and give yourself some breathing room for your artifact? Yes you might overcap, but once you have high enough CR you get more option for your artifact substats.

Weapon ascension is one of the cheaper upgrade in this game.

Did you just start the game yesterday? Weapon ascension and leveling up is a permanent buff to whichever character you give the weapon to. Relatively cheap and easy compared to the rng hell of artifact farming. You’re giving out bad advice because the tiny amount of resin you save to not max level your weapons isn’t as impactful as you think

That's like some shittyprotip level of advice.

You're not getting penalized for overcapping, 4 star weapons are not expensive to max. There's zero reason to not max a weapon, unless you literally have 0 resources and prioritize some other weapon.

Thing about Columbina is that she is ok with many stats. Crit rate, crit damage, HP%, Flat HP, ER and EM. There are plenty of substats fine with her even if you don't need any substat CR with her.
