How are there 3 moons during Sandrone's search when only 1 is known to be alive?

Are the marrows considered moon as well? Didn't we see a broken moon on Natlan's sky?

Because it was scanning for the moon's authority, not the marrows or the physical moons. All 3 of which Columbina had.

The system in the end searched for living moons with lunar authority. Since Columbina had Tri-Lunar authority and hid it on the Frost Moon, that would still have counted as 3 Authorities with a living moon.
