Clearing some misformation about the Traveler's spaceship, I've noticed on the internet

I saw some people misunderstand that in fact the traveler and their sibling were born the same year their planet blew up, but the description says they were not connected, that no one would celebrate someone's birth by blowing up their planet.

Also Big important thing to note, the spaceship has a genetic vault, meaning along side carrying the twins, it also has their entire species locked safely. So, no there's no incest thing going to happen here.

I'm confused, where is it stated that the dead planet in the description was the twins' plannet? The ship wouldn't need to run analyses on crust radiation to know if that was the case, no? This random plannet died when the twins were born, they seem to have boarded the ship when older

You can make the connection pretty easily, with the fact that the ship is suppose to bring the spark of civilization, and a genetic vault. Meaning that something happened to the twins's planet, either destruction or overpopulation. But none of this was stated, so a mentioned of a destroyed planet happening in the same year as the birth of the twins, being the homeworld of the twins is the simplest answer. The simplest answer is often the correct one.

No offense, I think it's a stretch. Especially after a paragraph about traversing over countless dead or inhabitable planets. Besides, this requires to assume the twins boarded the ship as infants and since they have been in a stasis on board, who taught them to talk, walk, fight - when did their sibling bond develop, their knowledge of basic societal things and conversations? Some things can't be fully supplied by an AI, no matter how complex. Oh, and how would they come to know about their home sky color and inteyvat in it's natural habitat?

If anything, this hints at the supernova explosion actually being connected to their birth which could further hint at their importance in a larger scale of things.

As I said, if the supernova exploded when the twins were born, the ship would have known and wouldn't have the need to run analyses.

It's very likely that the twins go into hibernation when travelling between planet to planet, given how far they can be, and only wake up and travel on their own together when they reach a habitable planet. It wouldn't make sense to stay up during the lightyears of interstellar travel.

Also the ship's AI could have be semi sentient, with how it created the traveler's outfits. Plus from the ship's pov, it seem initially hopefully and optimistic, but time has make it uncaring for the stars. So it could have been curious as to what happened to the twins's original planet and scanned to see what has happened. So, that's why it noted how the planet and the twins birth being within the same year as interesting information.

I think the timeline just doesn't match. First of all, they are called royalty of their homeland. If they were already born onboard, alone, with "a mission", it hardly makes you a self-perceived royalty. While you can argue for the point, a writer would never word the things like this if that was the case.

Also, the description in the outfit just prior the OP's segment in this post says this: "The planet they passed was never a destination,". I cannot see how anyone can read this as "this was their starting point or place of origin". It's obviously worded as one planet of many many many. It says the AI didn't consider it (=was never a destination) because it was dead by a supernova explosion. The AI would never come back to the dead homeland since it obviously knew it was dead and they were basically running away from whatever caused it. It only scans for the explosion time out of curiosity. The whole reaction to the information is just curious side thought.
