Hidden interaction in Echoes of an Unfinished Past quest

I just finished the Echoes of an unfinished past quest as I was hunting for primos for bina . I know this quest was released in like 3.0 or something and not this patch but at the end of the quest the MC tells Verna about the world quest that happens as part of Illuga's introduction in the current patch and about lady Alia and all. Is this some kind of hidden interaction or was this always there?

Echoes is about Aila the moonchanter.

Illuga's quest is about Alia, Aila's twin sister.

Their parents were evil and wanted to confuse future readers.

Ya but the world quest about the torchforger only came out this patch so how did those events get mentioned in this quest? Traveler specifically mentions the battle against the professor along with the ratniki and all

They might have gone back and added some conditional dialogue since the quests are so related. They have done it before. The Illuga one does mention Verna if you did the quests in release order.
