Ok so I'm just saying do you think it's wrong 4 me to think that the genshin world is in the hsr universe and that the wild hunt is connected to the aeon of the hunt

Bc I'm just saying I feel like it makes a lot of sense and there's evin a genshin ester egg in hsr so it would kinda make sense. Right?

No it's not. Genshin has its own unique enemies. Easter eggs in another game don't necessarily mean the two are related.

Genshin's world *is* in the same macrocosmic strucure, often called universe, as HSR. That much is confirmed by dev statements.

*However,* keep in mind the development timelines. While it's entirely possible for Genshin to introduce new elements drawn from HSR, it's unlikely that this would affect such major parts of the preplanned plot. Genshin Impact is designed to be a standalone experience, after all.

That's not to say we shouldn't have room for these more out there theories though. I mean, the writers can basically do whatever they want, so why not? But if you want to put forth this idea, you'll need a bit more foundation for your theory. That, or a lot of entertainment value in the presentation.

People already get irrationally annoyed by mentions of the other games. A post like this one which doesn't give a lot to chew on may unfortunately just make that worse.

For example:

Some made theories thar the merchant ship from Skirk backstory were part of the IPC. Through i can also see a theory that they were part of Xianzhou Alliance, mistaking the abilities of Skirk's people to be ambulance in nature. Neither really has much ground to stand on outside of surface level, and either one could be a minor fraction of either group. Especially if the genshin does take place near the end of the universe.

No, the wild hunt is just a different form the abyss takes.

The glider in HSR does confirm a connection but not a timeline. For all we know HSR could occur millions of years after Genshin.

We do have some bits of timeline. Though the universe is also full of time bending anomalies, so it's not a lot to go on.

Essentially:

* Dvalin was visible to Otto in 2017 on HI3's timeline. This means that it's 2017 on Earth somewhere during Dvalin's life span, at a moment when looking into Teyvat from the outside is possible.
* Welt traveled from Earth into space in 2029, then went back to Earth, and then headed back out again. Context implies he wanted to head out asap, so we can assume 2029-2030 is about when he left.
* Welt has been in space for a while, possibly years, but not so long that he's given up hope on seeing his family and friends again. We know Tesla is long lived, but his son, Joyce, should age normally.
* This means that HSR takes place within less than a century from when Dvalin was visible

But, again, if they want to have it different, they could easily explain that away by some temporal phenomenon or anomaly affecting Otto's observation.

Besides the name probably not. I think the "wild hunt" is more connected to Nod Krai's Norther European themes and legends than the various crusader factions from HSR.

What about the Wild Hunt feels like it’s connected to Lan (the Aeon)? Not very useful for discussion to say it makes a lot of sense without providing any evidence. From what I can see they only have the “Hunt” in their names in common. But that’s almost as silly as saying that Hertha the Mondstadt NPC and Herta the HSR character are connected just because they have similar names.
