On a more serious note, as a 1.1 player who remembers how exciting it was for Yae to give us some lore in Inazuma, and how shocked we all were to learn the sky is fake back then…we’ve come a long way.

Most Archons are contract-bound and can't divulge classified information easily. Bina is not. With Tri-Lunar authority she is one making rules, there are not that many existences that can really threaten her. So, she can do what she wants to.

I know this is fluff, but let's put things into order.

Venti - Easily the most suspicious of the bunch. One can argue that the devs avoided him giving too much lore because they haven't planned the rest.

Zhongli - Contract-bound to not say anything. He's the God of Contracts.

Ei - Has zero knowledge of what the traveler was searching, given that she was not present in Khaenri'ah, and only knows how to fight.

Nahida - Actually gave us some lore despite being born only after the Cataclysm.

Furina - Has no knowledge due to being born after the Cataclysm, and was cut off from Focalors.

Mavuika - Even worse. She basically died during the Cataclysm, and didn't go out before that.

But it's also because of her that majority of the nation issue was solved..If she care about her gnosis, Nahida wouldn't be able to use the electro gnosis to cure the Irminsul since her dendro gnosis isn't enough..If she didn't create Wanderer and use Irminsul branch to make him, they wouldn't have found a way to save Columbina which means they won't defeat Dottore..

Also Mavuika is technically more human than Furina as she can't live 500 years, it's just that Furina never had any *actual* archon powers.

Just notice when the quest changes location, or especially when you see a loading symbol at the lower right of the screen. Then it's safe to quit out without losing progress. You'll restart next to a marker that lets you re-enter the quest.

Having player Honkai Impact 3rd and knowing that Teyvat exists within Honkaiverse (this is canon), I wasn't so surprised by the sky is fake revelation.

Also, if you played Skirk story, it seems the general idea is that the traveler needs to experience the world and find his own conclusions. The archons can't just tell him what to do. His past experiences will be important when they face new challenges.

I see others are defending Nahida but I also want to point out that Columbina doesn’t tell us everything. She doesn’t tell Traveler that Tholindis’s motivation to travel backwards through time in the moon gate was to stop our twin ever coming to Khaenriah as she seems to hold our twin some what responsible for what King Irmin and Rerir were doing.

I assume she’s not telling traveler to protect them from what might end up being an ugly truth once he learns everything our twin has done which might also be what Venti and Zhongli are doing.

I don't think Columbina even knows the Princess is the Traveler's sibling. Tholindis never says the name or describes the Abyss Sibling, so it's more Columbina hearing of the Princess and not knowing who the heck that is. She knows the Traveler is looking for their sibling but not the sibling being the Princess Tholindis wanted to kill.

Tbf traveler had no real juicy questions for Venti bc they didn’t know anything in the beginning, and they’ve since neglected to ask him anything. Why would he spill the secrets of Teyvat without even being asked? If he can get away with not saying anything or being suspicious, why would he ruin that? If that’s even what he’s doing- for all the Traveler thinks since they haven’t told him everything themselves, he’s probably in the dark. He doesn’t know what they need or what would help them. All he might know is that we are traveling Teyvat looking for answers and that’s something we have to do ourselves.

Zhongli signed some NDA thing and said as much.

Ei was in her mind palace for the past 500 years with no clue what was going on in reality, let alone what we did. That’s probably why it’s Yae Miko who we ask questions to, and she’s a powerful youkai, but she’s still no god who could really help us.

Nahida did help us a lot and she was even stuck in a mind prison too so she deserves way more credit.

Furina was a victim stuck in her role and now an ordinary human, and Focalors had no chance to even talk to us. Neuvillete had also always been in a hard position and doesn’t even fully understand humanity yet.

Mavuika was dead and just recently reborn, and Natlan supplied a lot of information about core things. There was nothing much left to ask at that point.
