Which characters to pick?

Dehya, Tighnari: Standard.

Yae, Ayaka, Ganyu: Trash cons.

Shenhe, Yoimiya: Beyond trash cons.

Eula: Beyond trash in general.

Kokomi: I love you but your cons are garbage. Maybe if next year doesn't add new characters.

Cyno: Among the least bad of the bunch.

Hu Tao: Decent C1 for a decent character. Won't come back next year unless her cons get serious buffs.

Cheld: Mildly okay C1. I've always liked Cheld teams' concepts, even if they haven't been good lately.

Hu Tao is your best bet, or maybe Nilou or Yae. For reference, I am getting Shenhe‘s C1 on Friday. Trash, but I am doing my everything for Ayaka. After Shenhe, Nilou and Hu Tao are next.

I already got Nilou on the first quarter.

Can you repick your first again after the 2nd ?

If you’re asking about picking the same character twice, no. You need to wait till the next year

So 4 characters a year, rotating. Take 5 more years to c6 them lol

is the “wait till the next year” confirmed or is it just players speculating

I don't have all the characters you have. The first time I went with Shenhe. If I remember it lets you use the elemental skills twice, so I pull this one for my Skirk team. I skip all the standard characters, because with the 50/50 lose you'll get them with time. Now I'm going with Klee, hoping that the next year I can pull for her again so I can get the C2 that is useful. Someone show an answer from Hoyo where they said the system will reset, but players have doubt about this.

For the next, I don't know, because I have Kokomi, but I agree that her constellations are bad. Then I have Wanderer and Baizhu, but I don't know. Wanderer was my main DPS for over a year and until Fontaine, but now I don't use him anymore. For Baizhu, usually I don't use him, but in this abyss I used him with Nefer and Lauma to have a healer (Kokomi was in the other team).

For you now I'll go with C1 Hutao, because they say she needs it.

You are remembering correctly with Shenhe's C1 (getting her C4 then Ayaka's C1, after that probably going to pad out a standard for the off chance I get a masterless stella fortuna)
