Every character in 6.x is based on an animal!

Why haven't I realized this sooner?

* Lauma = Deer (has antlers like a deer)
* Flins = Fae (not really an animal, but kinda)
* Aino = Duck (Knuckle Duckle reference)
* Ineffa = Dragon (has the core of a dragonlord)
* Nefer = Cat or Snake (it really depends)
* Jahoda = Bat (wears a bat-shaped hat and boots)
* Durin = Dragon (it's kinda obvious duh)
* Nicole = Rabbit (She's linked to the "rabbit tribe" of the Hyperboreans)
* Illuga = Bird (Aedon is his messenger bird)
* Zibai = Horse (is called White Horse in Liyue stories)
* Varka = Wolf (is often shown using the Wolf's Gravestone)
* Columbina = Dove (her Fatui Harbinger symbol is a dove)
* Dottore = Raven or Crow (his design and lore heavily associate him with birds)

It depends on the source material. Some fae are animal related or themed, like fauns in The Chronicles of Narnia. But not completely animal.

Ineffa is a clanker based on a human woman.

Varka is just a human male. Not based on any animals.

Columbina is not based on any animals.

Aino is not based on any animals.

You tried to force this just because Lauma has antlers and Zibai is a horse Adeptus.

They definitely worded it wrong they're not 'inspired by animals' but their designs all have some form animals integrated into it or some of their backstory has an animal involved like how

Nefer has Ashru (The Ibis Kings emissary) which is why she's got a cat in her design

On top of what they said about Columbina's fatui icon being a dove one of her idle animations has a dove in which links her to a dove

The title of Wolf of the North is given to the current title-bearer of the Knight of Boreas. Which is why Varka can be linked to a wolf

When we first met ineffa in Natlan we found her core was embedded in with the moon wheel of the 8th dragon sovereign which links her to a dragon

Aino built knuckle duckle and her ultimate summons a floating duck which applies hydro that's all I can think of that links her to a duck atm

Idek where you got a fae for Flins, Ineffa is just a robot, Jahoda being a bat makes no sense, and Nicole is an angel

Flins isn't animal related. He's a will-o-the-wisp, a ghostly flame. Only *some* fae are animal related, and that depends on the source.

Jahoda is cat, she make cat face, her skill bar is cat shaped, her burst have cat paw effect, her talent icon have cat paw, her burst spawn "Purrsonal Coordinated Assistance Robot", every single one of her constellation have either cat paw or just straight up cat icon.

Yknow what I think this is fun and I can buy into it. Everyone here has a bit of an animal inspiration or theme or some ties, I agree.

That said, it's not quite perfect. Nefer can be more snake maybe because Jahoda is definitely cat themed. I also initially thought she was a bat, but unfortunately no, just another anemo 4* cat girl but without a tail lol. Flins, fae is kinda iffy, but it's non-human still... And Ineffa DOES have a core from dragon age Natlan, but she was always a machine, never actually a dragon 🤔
