How did I end up thinking more about a random world quest than a playable character's SQ?
I didn't take a screenshot of the previous letters but it absolutely destroyed me too. The lightkeeper mentioned that they might not get home to Nasha town at all and see his mom
And ofc to rub salt onto the wound he just had to say "Maybe I will grow into the person I become after all. I hope so." I HOPE SO??? ABSGSHGSHSHSH
Also why did that stupid Kuuhenki way (idk what to call that) led me to their graves?? Like did it feel like slapping me in the face after deluding myself that they came out alive??? Why were my eyes suddenly sweating wtf??? Why even make me go thru allat?? 😭😭😭😭

One of my absolute favorite quotes in the game comes from the Jeht world quest, found in a note left behind by her late mother. And it boggles me that there are so many lore skippers who probably didn't even read it, when I think about it all the time:
“Still, I wish that the day would come when we can all be proud of each other - though destiny might render our little sand dune a wreck, and though all the lovely expectations that we hold may be lost… I hope that you can look into my eyes and tell me that even with my lack of experience as a mother, ours was not a relationship defined by regrets.”
