when will xianyun rerun?

I really love her but I didn't have a proper phone when she arrived, and I never got the chance to get her

So, when will she expected to have rerun? And will it really be possible for a f2p player to get her during this process ?

I thought it would take longer to arrive after her last rerun. It'll be very difficult to accumulate enough Primo to get it during this time.

She is not from Fontaine, no idea what this person means but she is included in Liyue if anything, not a completely unrelated region. Her next rerun is just unknown since she reran somewhere last year

The upcoming banners should rerun Nod-Krai characters like Lauma, Flins, Nefer, and Skirk/Escoffier first along new characters, so you hopefully have a few months to save

Xianyun is a Liyue character and one who was specifically not included in chronicles due to still being used a lot and having few reruns. Fontaine Chronicles has nothing to do with her, it includes older characters from a region not the patch cycles

She is still not from Fontaine, if it's not the Liyue banner or a generalized one, Xianyun will not be in it. She will have a regular banner rerun if anything if Liyue Chronicles is not repeating this year

I think bc she is premium side to varesa it depends also how much varesa is preffered. If it is so that varesa is popular i wouldnt be surprised if she was rerun as well but idk.

I have Xianyun and love her, but Varesa's BiS is Overload with Chevreuse, Durin, Iansan. It's tragic that THE plunge support isn't the best for the current best plunge attacker.

Right now, there's only... 5 ish units who want/can use Xianyun (without the plunge buffing/enabling, she's usable, but more like a Jean sidegrade and really not worth it). Xiao (who's outdated and on Chronicled Wish), Diluc (who's a standard banner unit), Hu Tao (who's also outdated and does fine without plunge), Gaming (a 4 star who wants C6), and Varesa (again, she prefers Overload).

Ngl I kinda regret and not regret pulling her when she reran with Varesa.

Like I really really love her personality but I rarely use her due to not having c6 gaming.

I did same with Zhongli pulled him for personality but rarely used him in general.

If I opened a new account I'd probably not pull units if I dislike their gameplay even if I like their personality cause I don't see the point of pulling units I'm not gonna use or spend time with even if I love their personality.

The sad part for me is that I love plunge attack gameplay 😭, I‘m just not interested in any of the units that work with Xianyun. Xiao is cool, I tried pulled for him and lost the 50/50 like a year ago. But at the present, I’d rather not use an on field a male character, I play this game to see gorgeous fictional ladies. Same with Diluc (who I mained for a while and hated every second of seeing his dead fish eyes on screen) and Gaming. Varesa’s playstyle is incredibly fun in trials, but I’m just not that interested in her personality.

And since the new DPS’s have been reaction based, I don’t know when we’ll ever get a new plunge unit.

There’s always on field Columbina + Ineffa wheelchair though, haha. Side note, while Xianyun is good at what she does, she should have had better on field DPS capability without C6 (which allows her to continually use her skill to attack). She’s just so niche that I feel it would be fair. She can enable her own regular plunge attacks with her burst, but the multipliers are low on non elemental skill plunges. Hopefully with Liyue buffs, but I’m a bit doubtful with her being a relatively new character.

If it's saying anything I 100% planned on ditching my Arlecchino for Gaming plunge if I got him to C6 which I still plan to do.

Worst case scenario I'll get him to C6 next lantern rite (Currently C4 I'll get him this lantern rite which will make him C5 then I can pick him again in next to make him C6)

My guess is that they will add her to a Liyue Chronicled Wish banner at some point, and that’ll be her next (and forever) rerun cadence.

The problem with chronicled is that you either bring 30k primos or it's just not worth the risk. With less you can spend them all and still not get the character you want.

Except the guarantee does not. Get a standard on one chronicle banner and the next won't care and happily toss another at you. This means actually getting a guarantee requires saving up 30k total while the normal banners let you go in with just 15k at most assuming you've got that guarantee from a previous banner.

It really isn't any different than saving for a character you want, while not on a guarantee. It's the same rate and same pity amount.

Sure, but if you don't get the character on a regular banner, you take the L and at least can still use the guarantee on someone else you might want. Typically people like and want to pull multiple characters. If you don't have enough pulls to use up the guarantee on the chronicled banner, it's gone forever.

There's quite a few characters that haven't rerun in a while that are also meta. Right now the devs are prioritising meta units for reruns while the less meta ones are relegated to the chronicled wish. Kinich, mavuika, skirk, escoffier still need reruns as well as the inevitable flins nefer and lauma reruns.

While xianyun isn't a bad unit at all, she's not really used that much. I expect that when she next reruns, she'll be bring the liyue chronicled wish and/or buffs with her. Probably isn't going to happen within the next 6 months so you should have a lot of time to guarantee her and maybe some vertical investment too.

The problem for me is when will she arrive, because my problem would be if she arrived too soon. The later she arrives, the more Primo I can save, seriously, but of course, if she arrives early, the 2 cents worth of Primo I have will be useless...

Yeah, there's not really a way to accurately gauge when a character will rerun. All we have are trends and how much stock the devs put on meta standing. I think if you start saving now, you should definitely be able to get her no matter when she releases as there's a very low possibility of a rerun in 6.4 or 6.5 imo.

There are no indications so far that there is a Liyue Chronicled Wish banner running this Lantern Rite, unfortunately

She's one of my favorite characters, so it's a shame, but I don't think she is. She is extremely unlikely to have another banner all to herself. She'll have to wait until the Liyue Chronicled wish runs again, and we haven't even had the Fontaine one, yet.

Chiori, too. I deeply regret not picking her up when I had the chance. Doubt we'll see her until the Inazuma Chronicled goes again.

Probably no Emilie, Wriothlesly, or Siegewinne, either, but at least Fontaine's Chronicled wish should be the next one, whenever they decide to do one.

Just hang on and wait, I don't think she's reruning anytime soon so you’ll likely have more than enough time to save your pulls. Varesa is the only meta plunge attacker, and she doesn't even want Xianyun in her BiS team (Overload Chevreuse, Durin, Iansan).

If you want to use her for endgame, you have to think about what team she can support, as she's incredibly niche. You CAN use her as a Jean sidegrade for pure VV and healing, but I think that's a bit of a waste. She's Xiao and Diluc's BiS, and also works well with Gaming and Hu Tao (the latter only if you have Furina, Hu Tao doesn't normally want healing, but Furina's Fanfare buffs offset the loss of her passive). Even if it's not her BiS, Varesa can still do fine with Xianyun, Furina, Iansan.

Other than that... Pyro Traveler or C6 Lynette? I'd only recommend the last two if you REALLY like their characters, they'd need high investment in order to clear.

I used plunge Diluc with her for a while. It’s good, but really wants Furina.

I really like Xianyun, and everyone says there will definitely be a rerun in version 6.???? (I never believe it, though). The most important information I need is the information that I've been needing is "her rerun gonna take a WHILE" Saving up primo is difficult for F2P players, and I don't have the opportunity to play Genshin constantly... so I hope Xianyun comes out later.

But there aren’t that many characters who want that, is what I was saying. Hell, there aren’t too many infusion DPSs. Raiden’s burst plunges (not technically an infusion’ don’t have higher multipliers, so she’s incompatible with using Xianyun. Keqing and Alhaitham want to use their charged attacks and normal attacks, respectively, to trigger more spread/aggravate. Chiori’s infusion isn’t that great without cons, she’s better as an off field unit. Ayaka actually might be solid, but I think she wants freeze instead of melt. And then there’s Diluc, who actually does really want Xianyun. I just don’t like Diluc, so I’m complaining.

I just think that since she’s such a niche support, Xianyun could have at least had usable multipliers on her Normal Attack plunges, so she could be an on field DPS without C6 to let her use her skill to attack multiple times.

I'm waiting for her re-run too so I can pull her weapon... I really thought she would show up around lantern rite either in solo banner or (more likely) Chronicled, so I saved my fates and now she isn't going to show up haha. But on the bright side, I have that stash in savings and ready to go, so it's just a matter of waiting...

If she doesn't show up by March, it will be a year since her last banner, but this isn't surprising because she took over a year to have her first re-run banner (debut end January 2024, re-run March 2025). I suspect it will be after March. edit: I don't mean she will show up right after March, I mean I don't think she will re-run before then.

That's a neat part. She won't. Haters doomposted her so hard at the release, that noboby wants to pull her to the point that a lot of people have no idea that she is even a healer. She had her first rerun after over a year. From 4.4 to 5.5. It's sad, but Genshin players are big jerks.

Xianyun was one of the characters I really wanted along with Shenhe, so I ended up saving for the both of them last year.

I like using her to jump from place to place quicker.
