Hey everyone, just downloaded Genshin Impact on mobile.
I’ve got solid experience with COD and PUBG, but this is my first time with Genshin. Any beginner tips or things you wish you knew early on? Appreciate advice from veteran players.
My biggest tip would be to start by looking for recent threads where people who have already asked to receive tips.
My second biggest tip is to not let the FOMO get you and to remember that this is a single player game so you aren't competing against anyone and you don't need to binge through everything just to get "caught up" to some imaginary end goal.

The current limited banner is the single best banner ever.
If you can get enough summons to get both featured 5* characters (Columbina and Ineffa) you will have a core capable of handling pretty much anything in the game until end game (the three end game modes require 2 good teams, 3 good teams, or 20+ developed characters).
Now, I don’t recommend you rush the game for this. It’s not worth it, those banners will come back later and other banners and other good characters will come and replace these anyway. But these banners are fantastic for an early player.

Be wise in building up characters. You'll waste resources if you build too many at once. Also, pick up everything you can.
