Why Genshin players say that Dottore got defeated by power of friendship?

So, in a cutscene while fighting Dottore, Columbina for courtesy said she was fighting with her friends. Just hearing this one sentence the entire community decided that Dottore got defeated by power of friendship? If you skip the dialogue of the entire quest by right clicking mouse and only see the 4 cutscenes from YouTube then this is what will happen. What power of friendship? During the fight, Columbina also had the trilune authority like Dottore which she got from 3 moon sisters. So, both of them were equivalent in power level. She also had proficiency of using the 3 moon's skills which Dottore didn't had since he only got it few days ago. If Columbina didn't get revived, there was literally no way Traveller could defeat Dottore.

See the thing is...every boss gets defeated by Traveler and friends (except like...Childe who was beaten by Traveler solo). So even if they come in to the fight prepared and with powerups and stuff...one could argue that it was the "power of friendship".

EDIT: I don’t usually question getting downvoted but this one confuses me since the sentiment I was trying to express is one I see in some of the more highly upvoted posts. What am I unintentionally communicating here?

It had elements of it. There's nothing wrong with that.

Genshin has been "power of friendship" from the start. But the average Genshin player does not pay attention to the game they play.

Yes, that's also the power of friendship and family "in their narrow definition of it". There's nothing wrong with it, but edgy kids who shouldn't have access to social media want you to think that it's bad writing but they haven't opened a book in their life.

People have gotten it into their head that any group fighting together or mentioning unity or working as one is power of friendship and is bad

Power of friendship is literally the protagonist gets a random power up for remembering their friends and eijg motivated by them, with no prior setup or foreshadowing.

None of which happen to thst extent in genshin.

In genshin half the time the powers aren't random and are very much foreshadowed and built up prior.

Natlan practically started right off the bat telling you about names and working together were integral parts of their success and survival.

Natlan isn't power off friendship because the power up isn't random.

Natlan was power of friendship, but power of friendship done right. Power of friendship isn't just the bad examples, people just used power of friendship to refer specifically to the bad examples so much that they forgot why those examples were bad.

You forgot about MC plot armor. There's no way for MC to ultimately be defeated since the story would not progress and someone else who's far more capable would be the MC instead.

power of friendship (bad): "I fight for my friends" , says person who was previously unambiguously losing, but because they remembered their friends (or with encouragement from them) they now win

power of friendship (good): actually working together and cooperating to overcome great challenges, foes and obstacles

Hell this is arguably the most friendshippy friendship of friendships the game has shown us so far. Without it, they wouldn't have been able to retrieve Columbina, the pivotal point in the whole ordeal. Had she been a mere acquaintance, Nod-Krai would have been doomed.
