If you pull for Skirk you DEFINITELY want Escoffier too, she's a lot worse without her.

If you want Skirk to feel like Skirk you need Escoffier. Whenever someone says “just brute force with Skirk”, that’s assuming Escoffier too.
That said Zibai Columbina are gonna be just as strong or stronger, and you already have Columbina so that’s only one char you need to pull instead of two.

Columbina is a Lunar buffer so IF you don't have any other Lunar characters (Flins, Nefer, Lauma, Ineffa) then Zibai would be a good option. Zibai will be a very strong Geo DPS paired with Columbina.
However if you plan to pull for any of the other Lunar characters on their re-runs then you can skip Zibai if you want.
Skirk and Escoffier come as a pair, yes Skirk will still do damage and clear Abyss without Escoffier but the difference in damage is so big that you'll regret not having Escoffier.
In terms of gameplay both Skirk and Zibai have similar play styles. Spam normal attacks with the use of their skill in between.
Alternatively you could just pull for all 3 unless you're saving for other units later down the line. If you have 400 wishes right now then you should easily have 500 by the time all 3 banners pop up, even if you lose all 3 50:50s you will be able to get them all.
