Teyvat is nowhere ready for the horrors that lay beyond the firmament
Just based on the things we’ve seen from Skirks backstory and now the lore from the travelers new outfit, the outside world is MONSTEROUS.
Let’s say that the PO is the Travelers space ship / ships AI module. That one AI module subdued a world, beat the dragon sovereigns and a juiced up Neibilung on abyss crack. One ship did that, and likely this ship could be a marvel, but we’d be silly to think it’s the only one. The more likely case is that this ship is a standard / trivial thing from the travelers home world and the inventors and their planet had technology leagues beyond this.
Now take this and apply it to other world tenfold, imagine the super advanced worlds that have into the abyss and that have super tech + abyss juice. Surtalogi probably went from a big fish in a little pond to a small fish in the ocean if just random spacecraft are able to terraform worlds, move stars, etc.
Humans have potential and hubris, but ignorance will always be our downfall and this feels like one such case. The world outside teyvat is way too frightening and the humans are unaware. The only thing they know is that they’re being kept in the dark and that makes them want to break free.
But freedom always comes at a price.

It does look as though the story may be planning to bring in some of these high-level threats, with the indication at the end of the Archon Quests in Nod-Krai that Teyvat is now more detectable to those from beyond the Firmament. That's a big, fat flag that we're going to see someone come to investigate.
I'm not too worried, though; the underdog tends to win in stories like this one.
Nevertheless i agree that the underdog will win here because of the plot even if the threats should be the ones coming out on top
The most obvious would be the Abyss, but it's already clogging the vacuum of space according to Alice so we might be able to rule this one out, they're already here.
The civilization that cleansed Skirk's homeworld? If merely being adaptable to Abyssal energies is enough reason to exterminatus a whole planet, then I can only imagine how happy their trigger fingers would be when they saw Teyvat.
The Voyager? Likely but since she found Teyvat twice before she SHOULD be able to find it again, False Sky or no.
Another more obscured visitor I can think of are those who were defeated by Surtalogi. It's a long shot but maybe they'd want to take revenge on Surtalogi, but since they can't beat Surtalogi, his home planet may as well be the next best thing.
So are they setting up for whatever is coming to Genshin after the end of Teyvat Chapter, or will we be seeing these extraterrestrial threats much earlier, perhaps during Khaenri'ah?
Although our real life universe has a lot lot lot lot more lifespan remaining...

Although that still doesn't reduce the threat level of the outside world. If a civilization advanced enough to create a ship that could wipe out the dragons were forced to extinction and putting their hopes in an Ark ship, and that specific Ark Ship hid the world from the outside instead of openly defending the world, then best bet that the Ark Ship (PO/HP) would most likely not be a match to what is outside the firmament.
My headcanon of what will happen is, the Cryo Archon will be able to take down Celestia and break the firmament. When everyone thought its gonna be a happy ending and roll credits, moving on to Genshin 2, we will be met with a greater danger. What they thought was their warden keeping them in a prison, is actually their guardian keeping them safe
At least Andreas was kind enough to off himself and let the Mondstadt section of Archon war end without the recently freed Mondstadters all dying to his cold tundra.
Imagine if Andreas wasn't kind... The "freed" Mondstadters all would've died out in the snow with only the wind spirit Venti remaining by their frozen corpses..
