Team comp

I am quite new to Genshin and only rank 23, but I started properly playing because of Mualani, I adore her. I need some tips and guidance with who I should put on my team with her, as I currently don’t have that many characters since I am still a bit new. Anyone got any tips?

You are too new to care too much about teams composition.

Teams composition requieres many diferents characters, artifacts sets, weapons and higher lvl to at least unlock the passive abilities, you are not even close to that. Just focus characters that let you do exploration more easy.

In the future a mualani sucrose pyro MC +1 could work.

Team comps don't matter at your current level, just play who you want. Teams only start to matter once you hit AR45-50 and start endgame content.

For now, just focus on triggering reactions. Mualani is a forward vape specialist, so pairing her with Pyro characters is a good idea. Mualani - Xinyan - Amber - Barbara gives you pyro application that you can vape, and Barbara is a healer that gives hydro resonance which lets Mualani do more damage.

If you want to use her as DPS, pull Mavuika, Citlali, and Xilonen.

If you want to use her as support, give her Dragon Slayer and Cinder City, and pull Skirk, Escoffier, and Furina.

I would start with Mulani, sucrose, Benny, and yaoyao. Benny and Yao Yao will cause the monsters to burn which lets mulani vape and are both useful to have. Sucrose can also add
More pyro and will be useful later on. Then you just surf around on mulani. I would only really worry about gearing and leveling mulani. Expect to keep everyone else a few levels lower till you play more and have more options.

This kinda prioritizes characters you can level up and find useful later on with other teams. XQ and Barbara are nice to have but both would interfere with mulani.
