Is Genshin Impact the best game ever made?
The combat dynamic is so fluid that I’m still killing slimes (for Columbina now) yet I’m not even tired of it.
The gacha system is alright, as a “F2P” who only buys BP and a couple welkins from time to time, I have most of the characters that I’ve ever wanted, and definitely more than I can build.
The story is so good that the content I’ve been most excited for, at the moment, is the end of the story. It doesn’t get boring, it get better and better, the main arc is clearly coming to an end and they know how to build anticipation for that.
The OST is phenomenal, it’s my background track for when I need to concentrate (Liyue and Dragonspine).
The characters are so well built that most of them are memorable, even the non-meta ones.
I mean, the game isn’t perfect but I’m seriously considering that it might be the best game ever made, overall. I can’t think of another game that got me playing for more than 4 years with increasing enthusiasm and got me so involved in the story.

Genshin is undoubtedly excellent in the OST department though, I will defend that with everything
