Character investment help
So I’ve pretty clearly been playing the game for a long while (5 years just about) but I do wonder what the best path for account investment would be in terms of new characters, constellations, and weapons. I currently have sigs for Navia, Neuvilette, Lyney, Zhongli, Shenhe, as well as a sac jade.

But yeah, my personal belief is always go for new characters released as they usually are the new top meta for at least half a year, then drop to “pretty good”, like Neuvillette did after Fontaine ended and Natlan characters were released. Also, a larger roster means an easier time clearing Imaginarium Theatre and having more team combinations for Stygian Onslaught in case a particular team isn’t quite good enough for a boss or you’ve already used a character for another boss.
As for vertical investment, 90% of the time, I go for signature weapon because I’m all about that drip. And generally, the first constellation for most characters is kinda mid, Hoyo is slick and usually its the C2 that’s a gamebreaker (Mavuika, Nahida, Furina, etc.)
So in most cases I feel like you’re going to get more value out of a signature weapon, especially for main DPS characters. Of course, there are exceptions to this, like Neuvillette’s C1, which is godly and lets you drop the need for a shielder because it’s now immune to interruption.
