I wish it was directly addressed in the game, that Traveler, directly or not, killed Signora/was the reason of her demise. She obviously had it coming with all her arrogance, but we've realized another perspective, through Columbina. That Signora is just another person. I never seen her as a bad person myself. She is Fatui Harbinger, so obviously she did a lot of bad things, but so did Childe, Arlecchino, Capitano. But Columbina wouldn't like someone who is evil as a person. And what happened to being honest? Traveler and Lauma had honest encounters about who they are and what they did etc. So why not being honest with Columbina. "I am the reason why Rosalyne is dead, we didn't really get along well..." or something. Traveler should really openly say that. No matter if they regret the decision or not. Just being honest. Signora was mean bitch, that's not really question here, but she wasn't bad person. Her true emotions were tainted by the bitterness of losing her lover. Who wouldn't be sad and angry about that? Signora is the most good Fatui Harbinger, excluding Columbina. As a person especially.

she is still very much evil though. maybe wasn't always evil but she definitely crossed the line by the time she died. even the worst crime lords are still people with basic human dignity, but they're still evil. not sure how they became friends though but then again a lot of stuff did get retconned including columbina's identity.
actually a lot of fatui stuff is portrayed really strangely if you think about it. arlecchino grooms kids into being assassins but that part has been mostly ignored recently. childe once awakened osial but now he's mostly just a hot guy that likes fighting. sandrone committed literal terrorism against the frostmoon scions but she's now a robo waifu thats lowkey gay for columbina. there is also capitano who can be argued is the most righteous out of all of them, but that's still debatable and based on a very limited knowledge of his past.
i do agree that it would've been a great story beat to have it addressed though, but there were probably a few too many plot holes to do it as effectively

To be really fair, Signora didn't do worse things that Childe and Arlecchino:
In Mondstadt she was trying to steal lyre to lure out Venti, and took gnosis by force. Total damage was small, not worth killing.
Liyue is a little tricky because informations aren't too clear but with current info: Morax and Tsaritsa made deal. Morax wanted this whole test for Liyue. Oosial also probably was Morax's idea. At this point Signora's whole "plan" (as Arle claimed in Nod-Krai) would be giving orders to Fatui and tricking Childe. To make "her plan" she had to make it with Morax so she would knew he wouldn't put Liyue in real danger. Even if we count it as crime, she still isn't even in main 3 offenders (Morax, Tsaritsa and Childe) and if this deserves death sentense then people should wish for Childe's and Morax's deaths as well.
As for Inazuma: It was Jester's plan. Timeline-wise Vision Hunt Decree was already in power when she came to Inazuma. Delusion Factory also took time to build (not to mention making and spreading Delusion), so it probably wasn't her who build it, just oversaw production. Her confirmed crimes here would be: overseeing Delusion Factory, beating a few people (Sara, guards). Does this deserves death sentense? Maybe?
Still, Childe attempting genocide in Liyue, Arlecchino grooming child soldiers and killing people still should put them above Signora on "death list". Signora really took a lot of blame for others as "Fatui's face" in first 3 countries. I'm not saying she was inncent but Traveler really is fine with bigger sinners.

It doesn't matter if she did anything directly herself, but she supported Fatui with her power. Obviously, she isn't as evil as the rest, because what she did was very passive, but Fatui were never a good guys.
Also Columbina has never been retconned, because there was never anything official about her other than her sleeping in the table when Harbingers met. People just take stuff out of context. Tartaglia felt a power in her, but that doesn't make her "biblically accurate angel" as people headcanonned.
As for Arlecchino, yep, that's why I don't like people saying how Dottore is super bad etc, when we have every Fatui Harbinger doing a lot of evil. Regrdless of how kind and wholesome they appear, they are still doing a lot of evil. That's why I said Signora is the least evil after Columbina. Childe is not any better, since he pulled the Osial thing, knowing that people may die here. He didn't hesitate even for a second here. It's not like he expected everything to went smoothly without Morax. And Capitano? He is called good, just because he didn't do anything outright evil on screen? He did try to wipe the memories of everyone, or whatever it was, don't remember details. He wanted to do good, but his actions were clearly not so good, that's why nobody wanted to align with his plan. Because what he wanted to do was bad, too. In that way, he is very comparable to Dottore. Because Dottore is clearly fighting Heavenly Principles laws and he doesn't care about collateral either. Captitano was okay with **whole nation** being collateral of his plan. I don't care that he wanted "goody good" stuff to happen. He still ignored the consequences. Dottore also isn't that much more evil. Everyone calls him crazy or mad, but all he does is dethroning gods. Isn't this literally what Jester wanted? The video about shades, "What is the price of killing a god?". I am pretty sure, Dottore wants something very similar. His actions are just pretty... well, bad is understatement.
Either way. Fatui Harbingers are not good people. Whatever cause they fight for is a mystery, still, but neither of them is an innocent hero.
Also, about Dottore. "He can't be playable, because he's evil" was always hilarious argument to me. Because, as I mentioned, every Fatui Harbinger is evil. More or less, but still evil. You mentioned Osial and assassinations, too. So you know what I mean. People act like they were just cheerful guys, ignoring all the background. Also Childe isn't really portrayed wrong way. He is pretty much Son Goku of Genshin. A selfish, fighting loving guy. Except Goku wouldn't endanger anyone just for fun. Childe did so to achieve his goals, which didn't succeed anyway. But Childe always loved fighting.

I find it very unlikely that he would randomly crawl out of the Abyss specifically to hunt down a random blonde who happened to defeat in a duel to the death a woman who was once a lover of his mentor (the same mentor he likely doesn't even remember after 500 years of exposure to Abyss, and given his reason for pledging his allegiance to the Abyss, might have even disowned).

I always found it funny that the ‘trophy’ we got in the Inazuma AQ was from Signora instead of the Shogun. We got the crystal from Dvalin, the fragment from Osial, and then this which feels out of place.
I guess it fits when you consider each piece their main ‘feat’ for the region. We get praised in Mondstadt for helping defeat Stormterror, glazed a bit much in Liyue for marginally helping the Adepti in the Jade Chamber battle, and reasonably praised in Inazuma for being the MVP along with Miko.
