Did anyone else get super depressed after meeting Sonnet?

So as the title said T.T

She was so warm and loving but, as the Goddess of the Iridescent Moon, her moon gets (and by extension her) gets corrupted by the abyss in a desperate attempt to stay alive. This causes her perpetual torment and eventually becoming the malicious force we see later. And how scared she looked after giving her authority to Columbina…

I felt so depressed for her T.T

The sad part was when Columbina wanted to tell her that everything would be OK but she knew that would be lying so instead she told her how proud she was to have Sonnet as her sister. You have to think Sonnet picked up on this and that was the moment she knew she was fated to have a bad ending.

to be fair, even without the knowledge of her abyssal corruption, Sonnet *was* about to dissipate. “Everything will be okay” feels a little empty in the context of that

You could watch the hope for a good ending for herself and her sisters in her eyes, only to see it fade away throughout the conversation. Slowly refilled with resilience that while their fate is not a happy one, they can still do some good through Columbina

A tragic fate but they still did what they could out of the options presented

I love Sonnet and I'm so sad she's just a npc. I would love her to be playable.

Sonnet is a really good example of a character who is willing and able to do the right thing, does the right thing and then has a very human response to the consequences.

Finding out how painful and lonely her death ended up being, it makes perfect sense why she would fall and desperately hold onto anything that promises to make it all stop. I'm glad she didn't blame Columbina, and she got to have a bittersweet final moment with the last of her sisters.

I mean, they all met their end while helping a previous sister & while surrounded by previous friends. Much better than being locked up for eternity.
