Furina Rerun Estimates and tips?
I haven't even begun the Fontaine archon quest yet, but I already want Furina. Yes I just have a thing for pretty girls with Pink/Blue hair.
I want to build her as a main DPS (because you know, it's fun and I want to see a pretty girl on field) but according to some research, talents and constellation reading, she probably won't function very well as one without C6. I plan to get her, her signature weapon, and spend everything else on her constellations. Thing is, I don't actually have her yet, and she's not in the stella fortuna, meaning I'll have to grab 7 copies of her...
I studied the old banner patterns, and it seems like Furina always reruns 2 patches (or one time, 1 patch) after Neuvilette. Neuvilette is rerunning in Phase 2 of 6.3, which made me think she might possibly rerun in 6.5. Yes, she did just rerun in 6.1, but it's not like her banner wasn't available in 4.2 and then 4.7. And yes, Neuvilette didn't rerun 2 patches before her this time, but I do see the general pattern in Neuvilette rerunning 2 patches before Furina pretty consistently. At first I think it was a bit too early for her to rerun again, but knowing how popular she is, I don't think it's very surprising that Hoyoverse gives her another rerun, after all, they could make money from that.
That said, assuming the "worst case scenario" (in which she does rerun in 6.5 phase 1) I will have precisely 99 days as of this post, and I think I can manage to grind 7 pulls a day on a weekday and 9 pulls a day on a weekend. My spreadsheet tells me that by then, I should have 745 wishes. For now, for calculation purposes, assuming I get everything at hard pity and lose every single 50/50, I can guarentee that I get her to C2, with 45 wishes left to spare.
As we may already be noticing, this isn't exactly going very well for me, if I really want to C6 her when her banner comes out. That said, how will she work as a main DPS without her C6? And maybe my predictions are saying that she reruns way too soon, and maybe I do actually have more time to grind for her.
