Someone seems to have gifted me welkin or maybe by mistakenly given me welkin. What should I do?

Please help, I don't wanna get my account banned for this

Edit: So one of my in game friends was supposed to be gifted welkin by someone, but for personal reasons, they gave my account instead. I am not really sure how to proceed from here.

Don't use the welkin gems for for a month or so, If they happen to refund it through bank you won't go into negative that way and risk getting ban
After a month, bank do not provide refunds so it would be safe to use that time

After reading the edit: maybe just thank them? I am not sure if a gufted welkin can be taken back. I don't think so but maybe search for 'refund' in the sub and you might find some answers.

You're only in danger from an accidental gift if the gifter decides to refund the purchase. From the sounds of it, you actually know the gifter, so discuss it with them and see what their plans are.

Most likely, they will simply roll with the $5 loss, if they plan to continue to make other purchases in the future. Hoyo likely would not look favorably on individuals who repeatedly refund, so folks are only likely to do so for a serious purchase that was misdirected.
