Nefer, Lauma, Flins, Ineffa, Columbina, Furina, Yelan, Venti, Kazuha, Baizhu, Klee

So I'm in the dumb position of two premium nk teams but not much else 🫣

I'm okay with only beating hard, I haven't tried to do it yet and my builds aren't good enough yet for the higher difficulties anyway ^^"

I have every hydro ( sub dps ) in the game and it's not as it looks. First one needs hydro ( columbina + ineffa ) second one needs hydro ( for skirk ) and it's furina (or aino, columbina depending on the team ), 3 one needs hydro ( neuvi ) and it's furina once again ft either xingqiu or yelan. So even if you have all the hydro ( - neuvi for me ) you are still cooked.

You have 2 options:
Going with a lunar team and attack the boss while ignoring the minions. I cleared it with NeferC0R1/XingqiuC6/LaumaC0R0/NahidaC0R0 on first attempt.
The other option is attacking the minions, then you don't need lunar reactions and I've been trying MavuikaC0R1/CitlaliC0R1/BennetC6/KazuhaC0R0 to do so. Seems doable and seeing someone actually doing it inspired me to try, but not easy at all imo.

I saw Xlice test out C6R5 Columbina teams. Nefer did 1.7 million damage a second with Lauma and Columbina, without Lauma it was 400k. Basically, the entire team completely fell apart without Lauma.

In Fearless/Dire you need to focus your damage on the small crabs.

And I mean damage and not just breaking their shield.

They transfer 60% of hydro damage taken to the big crab when they pummel into it. And they have perma pyro aura for easy mass vapes. (I was 20 secs faster with Mualani/Furina combo than with Neuvi/Furina because of this on Dire)

You can also easily make use of chars like Citlali without having any issues with her messing up pyro aura for vapes

The big crab also doesn't have perma aura even with the shield, so you can use it to proc buffs (like scroll set)

Also, run a bit away to the edge of the arena after the spawn, that let's the big crab jump and his first 3 crabs will spawn in the same side and not scattered around him.

That is why I have yet to pull a proper hydro dps on my veteran acc..I only got childe from my early days .. rest are all hydro supports or 4* for IT

I realized on the second stygian iteration that sweating over fearless wasn't worth it. I just beat hard and I'm done, it takes less than a minute and it's completely stress-free.

Same. 1 feather isnt worth trying over and over for 5 hours.

Especially since the feather doesnt make content easier, stygian doesnt need perfect artifacts, it just needs you to have whatever characters are shilled, like neuv for crab.

I try to do menacing if it's not too painful, but hard is good enough if i dont get menacing down in a few attempts

and same for abyss 12, if i cant clear it in a few attempts im not too fussed, ill try again next month lol

I'm sure I can clear menacing if I want, my party is well built and capable enough. But I never bother. I don't need another monotonous time-trial DPS check game-mode in my Genshin life. There are abyss and IT for that, and I don't find them enjoyable at all.

Although SO co-op with friends is fun.

As much as I dislike some of the fights in the game mode I have to commend it for being surprisingly lenient with giving out rewards

You barely lose out anything if you can't clear stage 5 (like 100k mora and a single feather), you can still farm artifacts during the 10 days with boosted drop rates and a feather, you can get all the primogems, and you can at least attempt stage 4 for its rewards if you're so inclined

grouping requirement was 100% implemented specifically to counter skirk freeze and mavuika/varesa overload. probably most people’s only chances at clearing without lunar.

Rare win for Mualani pullers. My usual monohydro teams with C2 Furina, Yelan/Xingqiu, Kazuha, Xilonen couldn't do it in time. Pulled out my well built Mualani and destroyed the endless crab hordes in 3 retries. Fuck crab, fuck Neuvillete sincerely. Never pulling your braindead cringe character.
