That's my guess as well. *No one* specifies requiring a certain Selenic Chronicles completion level before you can do this. I'm guessing you need to complete Part IIs quests, which would coincide with the story for when Columbina disappeared for a patch. Part IIIs quests canonically take place after she returns.

You're remembering correctly. There might have been a notification in the upper left corner of the screen, where it lists stuff like new TCG things, but that would only pop up once, or for your first session of the week, or something. So if you missed it, you'd only be able to tell by scrolling over to the left side of the map and seeing her icon at the hall, which changed color to blue. Very easy to miss if you don't know what you're looking at.

Took the mask off her on my game. I looked at it like, after the events of the quest, the mask was an additional layer to keep her from truly seeing the world. But with it off, she close her eyes by choice and can view the world if she pleases, whenever she wants. I looked at it as one final chain to break for her to truly be free.
