Thanks to the Hexenzirkel for the Hexerei buffs. Freed up my Furina from Battlefield 2 for 3.

Is there a proper substitution for Yelan on third team?

Been trying it with Furina, Kokomi, Skirk and XQ but im missing it by \~8 seconds.

I picked the third team's members mostly for their hydro application. Yelan was apparently my main source of DPS, so I don't know who I'd substitute her for. My strategy for the third team was just to focus the small crabs until the big one's down and try my best to do damage in that window. This team gets the big crab down 3 times.

Maybe you can find a DPS setup where you can kill it in 2 downs? I tried Ayaka, Yelan, XQ and Esco but I can only get the crab down to around 20%. Or maybe you can get good small crab RNG and they group up often, leading to faster downs.

I'm a fan of using and investing into older characters that I already like vs. pulling for newer, shinier ones. Stygian Onslaught punishes that investment style, but I'd still rather play the ones I like vs the ones they are trying hard to sell.

Maybe you can swap your team's gear for more buffs into Skirk? TTDS-ToTM Kokomi, maybe? I tried giving XQ a different weapon, but Sac Sword just performed better due to the extra hydro application.

I spammed Columbina's charged attack on the big one and ignored the rest. My team does enough damage to clear the shield, but only barely. My Columbina is still on SMS so a better artifact set (NotSU) could perform better.

Bina E > Nahida E > Lauma tE > Kuki E > Bina CA until Q is available > Lauma hE Q > Nahida E Q > Kuki E (Q if needed) > Bina E Q CA spam

Columbina sig R1, does about 140k x3 per CA when hitting the shield and buffed. Only does about 60k when outside of the shield phase.

Tbh I just did it out of annoyance at first but was surprised that it worked. Breaking the shield did a good bit of damage on the boss as well. Hope u get the clear now haha

Thanks. I need to shuffle weapons and artifacts. Bina can take care of the shield but my team doesn't have enough firepower to take down the boss outside its shield phase. This team or I'll wait for Zibai lol (which I'm pulling).

My team needs two shield breaks to win. The damage from the 2nd break is what gets the kill. I'll try updating akasha for their builds.

That's kinda rough. I think you may be able to clear Battlefield 2 without hydro. Maybe Nefer + Aino could pass for Battlefield 1. Barbara + Furina + XQ for Battlefield 3? It'll be rough, though. Try checking the other posts for what comps they used.

Legit, don’t bother with higher difficulties. This mode is mega shill and is extremely difficult to do well in without either/or a very mature account with strong builds and the newest characters. If you don’t have the shilled characters either you have to brute force it with high investment characters or use unintended exploits that often require high investment characters to even pull off.

Mine's a bit lopsided but her passive, Lauma, and Nahida's C2 adds 35% more. I think she'd perform better on the NotSU set, but I don't have enough pieces right now.

Lauma's burst buff really helps increase the damage, so try keeping it up as much as possible.

Nahida's C1 makes her Q last longer and her E hit a bit more often. Probably not big. C2 Nahida adds 10% crit rate and 20% crit damage to lunar-blooms. There's also def shred after quicken reactions but iirc, lunar reactions ignore def anyway. It also allows the occasional hyperbloom from Kuki to crit (unless the birbs trigger it first). You can check the builds on akasha. Crowning Lauma might give a little boost.

The crab can go eat my ass. I tried a bunch of other hydro characters to bust its pyro shield fast and Neuvilette did it by far the cleanest. I’m sure the crazy people chasing the top of the leaderboards for Stygian times have found interesting tech to do it better but Neuv was the easiest for me.
