The doctor is the most well written character in GI

Just played the latest archon quests and wow. You may not agree with him, but from an objective standpoint NOTHING he said was wrong. He's not a bad because being bad is cool guy, he's practical, ruthless and focused on his objective. As bad as he may seem, he was by far THE best option for the traveller too. Id definitely side with him if there was an ending like that.

Everything about him is off screen yet somehow the most well written? Good to know

Furina is still the best written, The Doctors lore was mostly off screen for 5 years with like 2 seconds of screentime. For the amount of time he had, he was impactful and great, but Furina had the entire community eating out of the palm of her hand for months and shot up to be one of if not the most popular gacha character of all time for a reason

Not even if you count only Hoyoverse games.

Lmao local Genshin player bamboozled by the sophistry of bog standard sadistic schizo scientist.

Disagree. He's a good villain, probably the best villain, but the best written when his entire background was left offscreen? He just show up, say some basic villain jargon that impresses everyone with how cool the lines are, and dips out.

his points make sense because he is manipulative, wanting to traveler to join him isn't because he is a good person, it's because he knows exactly what to say to make us rethink our choices, and that's exactly why i love his character. he's not afraid to be evil and knows how to use that evil to twist our perception on things mentally instead of just physically fighting us.

I agree. I started the game knowing Toshihiko Seki was playing him(JP vers) so I was going to be biased but even in English...he got me. ❤️

His story was a lot better than most (Furina comes to mind. My God I wish I could delete her for real ...so annoying but I'll deal for Neuvillete 🤣) I can't wait to see more of him...let us pick our endings HoYo!
