What are your artifacts/weapons on the Varesa team? I have pretty much the same cons, but can't even kill the first shield.

You might have to fish for Widsith effect. If it rolls EM you're not going to break the shield.

Just kill the baby crabs until the shield drops. Baby crabs return damage to the big crab by 60% of Hydro damage dealt, and hitting them with Hydro is forward vape meaning lots of damage. Usually around 4 baby crabs + stray hits (Furina mob, Kaz swirl, Mualani sky beams) would break the shield.

The big crab's body is a separate entity that can be applied Hydro. Apply Hydro by: Furina summoning the mobs next to the crab, Furina's mobs attacks, Mualani's normal attack, Mualani's skill mode attack, Mualani's sky beams.
